Great printer that doesn't require ink - instead, software
I’m always a bit hesitant to add an app to my phone, not knowing exactly what permissions it requires or data it shares, so I went solely the computer route for this. The printer works fine, as long as you can either use the desktop software (PC only) or the mobile app. I used neither and chose to scale and crop the label I needed to print, which in the end worked out pretty well. Printing is nearly instantaneous, and text is clear and crisp. I’m bummed this printer doesn’t let me print wirelessly via Bluetooth on my desktop, but that’s pretty minor – this comes with a USB-C adapter so you can connect to pretty much any device. I really do appreciate the auto-positioning of the paper fed into the printer when you close it, that’s a welcome feature. All in all a very nice thermal printer, would recommend!
