The most important thing I was looking for was a pair of ear cuff headphones that do not have any controls on them or be able to turn them off. These have the next best thing, manual controls so when I go to wipe the sweat off my ear it doesn’t effect my music during my workout. I know that’s not the reason most people buy them but I don’t use the controls at all for anything so controls are really useless for me and hardly a feature to brag about. They fit well and are comfortable. Sound is good as well, I can’t really say anything about noise cancellation because I’m running in the morning and again that’s a feature I didn’t want nor need. My workouts are generally about an hour so they work for my needs. I don’t know about longevity on them though.
As a purchaser and collector of lower to mid-price ($20-$300) including the ones with the fruit, I love these Talix. These are my second favorite but my top favorite as far as price goes. I have not had them long but the sound, connection, comfort, quality and noise cancelling is pretty good. These are open ear so at the gym I could hear everything but I did not have to raise the volume all of the way to be able to hear like some other ones I have. I really like that it has a physical button. I have so many that are touch enabled and they’re so annoying because if I turn my head it stops, skips or hangs up the call! I have not used them to call but honestly I have not seen any earbuds with good quality to make calls if they do not have the microphone on the extender closer to the mouth. That includes the pods made by the fruit. I will update if they do not last beyond a year.
These ear buds are AWESOME! I have small ears and my other earbuds hurt and aggravated my ears. Theae are very, very comfortable and are good quality! I love the cute little case they come in!
