BEAUTIFUL CLEAN DESIGN Super Stable & Quick Drying - Very Well Made and Looks GREAT!!
This is exactly the type of bath mat I was looking for: beautiful, well designed, stable, and quick drying. I hadn’t really heard of diatomaceous mats before but wanted to try this out as I have been having issues with my bathroom rugs not drying quickly enough – I thought this would be a nice change. It is very well constructed and solid – the actual mat part you step on seems non slippery and the bottom is lined with a type of paper that makes it stick to the floor tiles really well. And it looks GREAT! Cleans up easily so you don’t have a dirty mat – all in a great purchase. One comment – I see one of the reviews here is complaining about the size and saying it is too small for their feet and while I don’t usually comment on other people’s reviews – maybe MEASURE something before you buy it? This is exactly the size I wanted and I knew that because I read the description. This is a very good product!
Finally, a bath mat that does not stay soggy all day
I picked this up because I was getting tired of traditional fabric bath mats sliding around on my hardwood floor and staying damp half the day. This stone mat has been a pleasant surprise.
The first thing I noticed was that it was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. Since these stone mats can crack if handled poorly, I appreciated that extra care.
Setup was simple. I dropped the included anti-slip mat underneath and it stayed put immediately. That was a big plus for me because my old fabric mats seemed determined to become hockey pucks on my hardwood floors.
The mat absorbs water quickly and dries much faster than a normal fabric bath mat. After stepping out of the shower, the surface was dry again surprisingly fast. It also gives the bathroom a cleaner and more modern look compared to bulky cloth mats.
I also like that it is thin and easy to move around. The foldable design makes storage easier than I expected.
A couple things to keep in mind. Like most stone mats, this is a firm surface, not a soft cushioned mat. If you want something plush under your feet, this is probably not your style. Also, I would still recommend using the included anti-slip pad, especially on hardwood or smooth tile floors.
Overall, I think this is a well-designed alternative to traditional bath mats, especially if you are tired of damp fabric rugs.

Good for what it is
If you’re looking for a stone bath mat and the measurements of this one meet your needs, it’s a good choice. It’s nice that it doesn’t slide around or feel damp like a cloth bath mat would. It’s heavy enough to stay in place but not so heavy that it’s difficult to pick up. It feels sturdy and hasn’t had any damage. It’s obviously hard underfoot, but it’s very smooth and feels nice.
The one caveat is to make sure the size fits your needs. Don’t be fooled by the listing’s photos that make it look as wide as a bathtub. Measure out the space for yourself. It will not cover the whole side of a bathtub, but it should cover about the width of a shower door.

Happy to make the switch to the stone mat. Dries fast and refreshing for the feet. When we had the carpet ones they would stay damp and wed have t wash it. For the stone mat, an occasional brush under running water would take the calcification right off.
