I love this squirrel house! I just hope the squirrels love it as much as I do. It’s functional and fancy! Extremely easy to assemble, all hardware and tools needed are included, pre drilled holes keep it looking pristine and clean. Solid wood is sturdy and durable, I love the variation of colors in the natural wood grain. It’s large, has plenty of room for a growing family. It will definitely keep a squirrel family safe and warm throughout the year. 5-star quality and value, highly recommend!
If you’re a squirrel enthusiast who enjoys watching them play, gather nuts, and chat, this shelter is just what you need to create a cozy, safe haven for these adorable creatures. It offers plenty of room for them to nap, build nests, and stash their food, all while being shielded from most predators and large birds. I only have Eastern Gray Squirrels around here, but this could also be a home for other species like Fox Squirrels, American Red Squirrels, and Flying Squirrels.
I was thrilled when the box arrived, and of course, it requires some assembly. The wood pieces were securely wrapped, the hardware (screwdriver and drill bit) was in a bag, and the instructions were easy to follow. At first, it seemed like a lot, but once I sorted out the pieces, it came together quickly. All the screws were there! It was easy to tell the inside from the outside because the outside holes were countersunk. All the holes on the adjoining pieces lined up perfectly, and the project was done in under half an hour. I haven’t put it outside yet. There are four longer screws for mounting to a fence or tree, which is where the drill bit would be used. For the rest of the assembly, a screwdriver will do.
This shelter includes a nice feeding platform where you can place fruits, nuts, and other treats to attract the little critters. The front “door” can swing up to open for cleaning and has a swivel latch to keep it closed when not in use.
Overall, this shelter is well-thought-out, considering feeding, food storage, safety from predators, a place to escape the cold and rain, a spot to rest, nest, and just a fun place to visit. I’m sure my squirrels will chitter their approval!

Well-Made Squirrel House with Plenty of Space!
I bought this squirrel house to give the squirrels in my yard a safe place to rest and nest, and I’m very pleased with it! The wooden construction feels sturdy, and once assembled, it looks great mounted outside.
Assembly was simple and didn’t take long. I especially like the external platform and little porch, which give the squirrels an easy place to perch before going inside and protects them from predators. The larger size also provides plenty of room compared to many smaller squirrel houses.

Great Squirrel House
I’m really happy with this squirrel house! It was really simple to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. The wood feels like good quality and the whole house seems sturdy and well made, especially for the price.
The size is great, too. I really like the design with the entry at the top and the feeding spot at the bottom, which gives the squirrels a place to stop for a snack. The nesting area inside is nice and roomy and the door opens easily. That makes it simple to check or clean the space when needed.
Another thing I like is that it’s designed with predators in mind. The enclosed nesting area and placement of the entrance give the squirrels a more protected spot to rest and raise their young. It’s a useful item for the outside critters rather than just a decorative box. We’ve placed ours in view of our kitchen window so we can hopefully see squirrels using the box.
All in all, this is a great addition to the yard for anyone who enjoys watching wildlife. It looks nice, is easy to put together and uses good quality materials. For the price, I think it’s a really good value and a quality item. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a squirrel nesting house.
