perfect fit for S22, glass protection for camera and screen included. Dropped phone from 5ft high on ladder and the case protected with no marks or scratches on the case. Purchased on prime day and it was a great value; would recommend.
October 2024: I like the simplicity of putting it together. It’s nice that it comes with two screen protectors. The wipe and cleaner to prep the screen. The durable case is up-to standards to my liking of an otterbox. It’s not too hard, but has some softness. I didn’t get a chance to try Wireless charging capability functionality in keeping my phone protected from falls so far. Have not tried waterproof nor do I.
Update: It lasted 8 months before it cracked and broke the corner off. But in hindsight it is still holding together very well.
This is a heavy duty case that perfectly fits the Samsung Galaxy S22 and kinda feels like an OtterBox case. It’s a thick case which makes it easier for me to handle the phone since it is so skinny, but a feels a bit slippery compared to my old case. I have already dropped my phone from the trunk of my car directly on concrete and there is only a minor scuff mark on one of the corner of the case. But no damage to the phone so this case has already paid for itself.
The front screen protector is the correct size and covers the entire front screen with a 1mm gap one each side of the screen after putting it in the case. But the back camera lens protector causes the case to bulge out just a bit in one corner. It’s not much and I would rather have the lens protector on instead of taking it off to remove the bulge.
But, I can see how dirt or water can fit in this crack in case your concerned at all. This case is definitely not water proof. Water would be able to enter the back of the case when the flash light is due to a gap created from the raised camera lenses on the phone itself where the lenses are a few millimeters higher than the flash light. The case does not conform to the contour of the phone, it just goes straight across from the raised lenses creating a gap big enough for dirt & water to enter between the case & phone. That’s why I rated this at 4 stars instead of 5. The listing doesn’t say anything about being water proof or resistant, that’s fine. I docked 1 start because this case will not protect dirt from getting onto the phone from the back.
Overall, this case is rugged and will definitely protect your phone from drops. The listing says it protects from drops of 10FT and I’m inclined to believe it. However, I don’t want to test this theory. I’m comfortable to know that it does protects from drops of a few feet when getting in & out of my car.
Ok, it says my review is for the S2 case because I bought that a while back and it won’t let me leave a separate review for the s25 version so I’m just updating this one. The case itself is easy to put on and definitely solid, easy to hold and does lack a little grip, the case can slide easily but easy to adjust to. On the s22 the fingerprint sensor wouldn’t work with the screen protector but this time with the s25 it works just fine. Overall good case for the money and gives my phone the drop protection I need.
As a non-traditional student, who specializes in both mechatronic engineering and engineering graphic designs, I was impressed by SPIDERCASE’s military-grade phone case for my Samsung Galaxy S22 mobile phone. I must admit that I was initially skeptical of my choice based on some of the verified Amazon customer reviews concerning the protective case not properly sealing due to the use of the lens protector, the appearance of the phone case purchased vs. the image of the phone case in their Amazon store, and the overall quality of the protected case.So I am glad that I dismissed the negative reviews and decided to see for myself.
Because I have large hands, the addition of the protective case was exactly what I needed. It provided the additional dimensions needed to ensure a proper fit. The left and right sides of the phone’s case are slightly textured, ensuring a sufficient coefficient of friction to prevent unintentional slippage.
If, however, you are gripping only the front and back of the phone case, I can guarantee you will drop your phone. The good news is that the phone case is ruggedized with military-grade protection; so if dropped, the damage to your phone will be minimal.
Please read SPIDERCASE’s instructions, which advise increasing the touch sensitivity of your Galaxy S22 mobile phone before adding the screen protector to it. Additionally, I recommend deleting your registered fingerprints prior to adding the screen protector, and then re-adding them after the new screen protector is in place. Because of the slight thickness of the raised glass, you will need to press a little harder on your mobile phone screen to re-register your new fingerprints. Note: This will hold true each time you use the fingerprint scanner to access your phone due to the thickness of the screen protector added.

Also, for those who are complaining about the color of the phone case as advertised, please know that there is something called “engineering design graphics” or “marketing graphic designs,” both of which produce 3-D simulations of an object or a device in question. So there will definitely be a slight difference between the simulated vivid color/appearance and the actual color/appearance of the phone case in question.
