Product description

I really adore these solar watering system, mainly because they save me a ton of work. They are so hand! Particularly in places where you don’t want to run a permanent drip hose. This one is has a timer. All you need to add is a body of water. That could be a bucket, a pail, a bowl, or even a pond! We use a rain barrel, though. We have several acres, and small gardens in strange places that are almost inaccessible. This solves our watering problem. We keep a rain barrel out there, fill that as needed, and let this little pump do its job of keeping the plants watered. It pumps out a slow drip, which is great for the plant’s health. It’s fairly durable. We have wild animals that visit our yard constantly, and we have not had one break. It isn’t obtrusive or unsightly. You can barely even tell it’s there. The appearance of it really blends in with the garden. For the cost, I don’t think you can wrong, as this is comparable to other brands. Will it last forever? No. They are typically good for one season. The value is my not having to run a hose to weird places and tax my well!
This solar drip irrigation system was easy to set up, and it’s been a great solution for keeping my potted plants watered. The instructions were straightforward, and once everything was connected, it worked just as expected.
I especially appreciate having it during the summer when we’re away from home for a few days. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my Japanese maple trees in planters are getting watered instead of drying out in the summer heat.
The solar-powered design is convenient, and the timer makes watering automatic without much effort. Overall, this is a great system to use regularly or to have on hand for vacations and long weekends away.
This solar automatic drip irrigation system is a thoughtful solution for raised beds, patios, greenhouses, or travel periods when plants need steady moisture. The solar panel is compact and easy to position, and the control unit has a clear layout with 12 timer settings that make it simple to customize watering frequency. The digital indicators are easy to read, and the buttons respond well.
The included tubing and connectors are lightweight and straightforward to assemble. Once set up, the system delivers a steady, gentle drip to each pot, and the kit includes enough emitters for up to 10 containers. The pump runs quietly, and the IP44 rating provides basic protection for outdoor placement.
The system is especially useful for container gardens or raised beds where consistent moisture helps keep plants healthy. The solarpowered design eliminates the need for outlets, making it flexible for remote corners of the yard or greenhouse shelves.
Ease of Use
Clear timer settings, simple tubing layout, and a solar panel that charges reliably in normal daylight.
Value
A strong value for a complete dripirrigation kit with solar power, multiple timer options, and enough components for 10 pots.
Overall, this is a practical, welldesigned selfwatering system that supports consistent plant care in gardens, patios, and greenhouses.
It’s been over 100F for a month now and the pepper plants love this setup. The sun powers it and the pump can be setup to draw from a larger supply of water so it can go for well over a week. I have ti give enough water daily to keep the plants from wilting due to the heat. Plenty of tubing, nozzles and connectors are supplied to setup your layout. The clock timer has the options I needed and this is a quiet unit when running. All that is needed is sun and water, no plug in or batteries, setup and go….
I have wanted a self-contained solar irrigation system like this for at least 10 years, and this one is very close to what I had in mind. Unlike a typical waterproof solar light, the solar panel includes a USB-C charging port protected by a rubber plug. This allows the internal battery to be recharged indoors during winter or extended cloudy weather if needed. During charging, the red indicator light blinks; once fully charged, the light remains steady.
The solar panel houses a large-capacity 18650 lithium battery. I particularly like its design. The panel is truly large compared to many inexpensive solar products, and the angle is easily adjustable for optimum sun exposure. My impression is that its size should allow adequate charging even during shorter winter days. The pump/controller module is equipped with a low-water sensor. When the reservoir becomes empty, the unit sounds an audible alarm while a red indicator light flashes. The timer is easy to program, with watering intervals ranging from twice daily to every 24, 48, or 72 hours, making it suitable for both outdoor and indoor plants.
The complete kit includes 1/4-inch tubing and everything needed to build a custom irrigation system from scratch. The pump can deliver up to 3 gallons in 20 minutes, although the actual water consumption depends on how far the individual drippers are opened. Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed, well-equipped irrigation system with several features that are often missing from similar products. I have wanted a device like this for years, and so far it has met my expectations.
The Solar Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit is basically your plants’ personal butler — except it runs on sunlight and doesn’t complain about overtime. With 12 timer settings, it’s like giving your begonias a Swiss army knife of hydration schedules. The IP44 waterproof rating means it can handle rain without shortcircuiting into a disco light show. And the 10pot setup? That’s enough to keep your raised beds, greenhouse, and that one diva fern from staging a “dry soil protest.”
It’s the gardening equivalent of saying: “Relax, I’ve got your thirst covered — now go photosynthesize in peace.”
Five stars for turning “drip irrigation” into “solarpowered plant spa.”
In the summer, I keep my house plants outside. In the winter, they are inside. I anm super bad about forgetting to water them. The fact that this solar automatic drip irrigation system can be powered by either solar or a USB C adapter makes it the perfect solution for watering my potted plants. It is a relief to know that my plants will be watered when I am away and a convience when I am home. The only limiting factor is the size of the water reservoir.
The setup was very easy. If I am using inside, I attach a Usb charger (the outlet is on the top of the unit, covered by a rubber plug. It I am using outside, I attach the solar panel. The only learning curve for me has been determining the watering interval and time. Now that I have it set correctly for my plants and setup it is working great!
