Magnetic PSA Graded Card Case Lightweight Plastic Frame Display Case

Tiny armor for my graded cardboard
These do exactly what they’re designed to do, which left me struggling to figure out what exactly I was supposed to review. Congratulations, protective case. You have successfully protected the protective case.
My PSA slab fit perfectly inside with no annoying wiggle room, and the magnets are strong enough that I can pick the whole thing up by the frame without it popping open and launching my graded card toward the floor. This is an important feature because I would prefer not to discover what sound leaves my body if that ever happens.
They do make the slab noticeably larger, but yes. I put a protective case around an already protective case. Physics had very few alternatives available.
The plastic itself feels sturdy rather than cheap, and each clear panel arrived with a protective film over it that you peel off, so mine weren’t scratched up during shipping. The colors also look really good in person, and I like being able to choose different colors depending on the card inside.
One thing worth knowing is that these are hard plastic. They give the edges and surfaces of the slab another layer of protection, but there’s no cushioning or shock absorption. I’d consider these more of a bumper against scratches, scuffs and direct impacts than something specifically designed to absorb the force of a serious drop.
Overall, my slab fits securely, the magnets actually magnet, the plastic arrived protected, and now my protected card has protection for its protection.
We have reached three layers of Pokmon anxiety. I regret nothing.
These fit my PSA slabs very well, the slabs don’t rattle around inside them and the magnets are strong. The cases themselves when separated are fairly flimsy, and the window is made of a PVC/plastic, so it is more likely to scratch than similar cases with tempered glass. The package had 10 cases in it for around $70, but I’ve purchased aluminum cases with tempered glass lenses for around $10/each, so while they are a bit more expensive, they’re a much more premium feeling product. The nice thing about these is that they do display well, but the optical clarity is a bit foggy compared to the glass ones.
Lightweight. Cases are made of plastic.
The price is reasonable, BUT do note that they are made of plastic. They are not made of aluminum or metal. They are light weight compared to the metal cases.
