Product description

I travel a lot for work and need a reliable SSD to store files and backups. The rocket nano has fast upload and download transfers. I work with video files so this is important. The 1tb storage is just enough for on the go workloads.
The design is compact, portable and sleek. It fits easily in my palm while I move around on the job. The silicon protect helps with heat dissipation which helps because it does get hot.
The cost is well worth it for the functionality and reliability.
I gave it a bad review first, at least to the seller, because the pc could not assign it a drive letter, but it recognized it by giving that external drive sound.
After formating it through disk management and assigning it a drive letter, it has been working since. It has instructions to go through device manager but it was useless. Seller needs to send instructions to resolve the drive letter issue through disk management. Now, it is fast!
ied a few storage units to try and alleviate how many files I was storing on my computer. Moving the files from my computer to external SSD fixed my computers performance problem. File transfer from my 2018 MacBook (which only supports thunderbolt 1) was ridiculously fast compared to the USB-A I was using before. Can’t wait to try it on a machine that supports thunderbolt 3. It does get pretty warm but with my setup its easy to put it in a place where I don’t touch it much
Buy it. Tiny dynamo!
I just timed exporting edited photos to both Sandisk 2000mb and this mighty magical baby brick. Literally – exactly -half the time on the Sabrent. Looking forward to future Sabrent external hard drives.

Velocidad impresionante en mi Mac
o compr hace poco para mi Mac y va como un rayo. Rpido, compacto y muy ligero, perfecto para llevar a cualquier parte. La transferencia de datos es instantnea y el diseo es elegante y resistente
Even at idle it’s running about 120 degrees F. It is as quick as they say it is. I got 2.3 gigabits per second write and 2.7 gigabits per second read, via Thunderbolt 3 port.
I’m using this drive to host various large virtual instrument libraries. Logic Pro seems to work well with its library remotely located on this SSD.
Due to the heat this gives off, I like to power down my mac and peripherals at night, or when I am away.
