Comfortable, nice support – not too firm and not too soft – tends to the firm side. Great side pockets. My only complaint is the height of the arms. I’m just under 6′ and I am not completely comfortable with the arm height unless I am sitting very upright. Very well made. Almost all of the wrinkles have disappeared and I like the remaining ones anyway.
I have had back surgery and a knee replacement, so it is hard for me to get comfortable. I looked at a lot of pillows and I am so glad this is the one I chose! Firm support, soft cover, pockets & conforms to you. Definitely wish I knew about this a long time ago, but I have it now!!
Supportive Reading Pillow with Firm Comfort, Handy Pockets, and Great Everyday Use
I thought this Quilmfoam reading pillow was a really neat product, especially once I started actually using it for more than just sitting up in bed.
The first thing that stood out is how supportive it feels. It has a firm structure that holds its shape really well, so it does not collapse or flatten the way a lot of softer backrest pillows do. At the same time, the outer fabric is soft and comfortable, so it still feels cozy to lean against for longer periods.
I used it for reading, watching TV, and just relaxing, and it worked well for all of that. The armrests add a lot of stability, and the back support feels much more secure than stacking regular pillows behind you. It also has side pockets, which are actually useful for keeping a phone, remote, glasses, or a book close by.
One thing I liked is that it expands quickly after opening and feels sturdy right away. The larger size gives a lot of coverage, and it feels substantial without being difficult to move around. The handle is also a nice touch if you want to take it from the bed to the floor or another room.
In terms of comfort, this leans more firm than plush. For me that was a good thing because it gives real support, especially for sitting up for longer stretches. It feels more like a structured backrest than a soft decorative pillow.
In terms of value for money, this feels like a well made support pillow that is actually functional for daily use. Between the solid foam feel, soft cover, pockets, and overall comfort, it offers a lot more than basic reading pillows that lose shape quickly.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the angle and firmness may work better for reading or looking slightly downward than for fully lounging back and watching TV. It is also a bit wrinkled at first from being compressed, though that should improve over time.
Overall, this is a great choice if you want a reading pillow that offers real back support, holds its shape, and feels comfortable for extended use. It is especially ideal for reading, gaming, recovery, or just making bed or floor lounging much more comfortable.
It is one of those products that seems simple at first, but ends up being much more useful than expected.

Works great. Was worried I wouldn’t get a good one with all the options (more expensive) but turned out great! Pillow fits between the arms so I can leave it on the bed even when sleeping.
