This portable dryer works great! It heats up fast and dries a surprising amount of clothes and even shoes. Lightweight, easy to set up, and much quieter than I expected. Very handy for daily use!
Compact hot air clothes drye
This dryer is making my life so much easier. It dries clothes much faster than air drying. I can dry a pair of jeans in about 1 hour (rotating the jeans halfway through). Lighter fabrics dry very quickly.
As far as energy efficiency, it draws a lot of power. I’m guessing it’s less efficient than a tumble dryer since you can usually fit way more clothes into a tumbler while this one relies on hot air flowing around the garments and reaching every surface of the fabric. Also, compared to a tumbler, it takes slightly more work because the clothes dry way faster if I rotate them half-way through (that is, the heat source is coming from the bottom, so any clothes that are draped to where one side is facing up, then that side will still be damp while the side facing down will be bone dry).
We typically only air dry most of our laundry, and this dryer hasn’t changed that. But sometimes for things like jeans and thicker things, air drying can cause it to smell musty due to the long time it takes to fully dry. This drying tent is such a good solution for occasional drying. I love how easy to use it is and how quickly it goes up and can be taken down for compact storage. It comes with two levels of hangers that are adjustable, allowing for you to lay things across the arms, or drape pant legs across the lower levels while looping belt loops around the upper arms. I can also put clothes on hangers inside the tent, but this takes up more space per garment.
The tent zipper gets rather hot during use, and it’s important to not have anything near the base where the heat comes out. I would definitely recommend this item.

Coincidentally, my drier gave up on me this week. I was so lucky to have found this product which saved me. I am quite impressed by this. I was hesitant at first because it is not like a machine which has soliid frames and walls but fortunately, it proved me wrong. This machine is very useful especially for small spaces, because it can be disassembles and stored when not in use. It heats up quite fast and can dry several clothes and even shoes. This is highly recommended.
