I have a toddler who jumps around from activity to activity, like most toddlers do. They rarely sit down and focus on something for a long period. I picked up this Play-Doh kitchen set and they’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. The set included 8 different jars of play-dog in 6 unique colors (3 of them are yellow). There are two different pasta roller attachments, 3 different squeeze pasta attachments, a frying pad, a pot, bowl, plate, utensils, basket with impressions on it, a bench with impressions, and there’s even impressions on the bench main leg.
My toddler has spent serious time rolling out pasta, pushing pasta through the top, and cutting it all up to serve. They’ve exercised their imagination in creating things while having fun. Surprisingly, they’ve been able to keep the colors separated and haven’t had issues of them blending together (yet).
I haven’t seen my toddler sit down and play with something for an hour straight in a long time. It’s usually 10-15 minutes and then onto the next thing. This kitchen set is a new favorite of theirs, I hope it lasts. The only thing I’ve really had to supervise is the rolling out of the pasta (they want to turn the handle the wrong direction and it doesn’t work), pushing out of the pasta, and clean up. Bits of play-doh often get stuck in the pasta cutter, same with the squeezer.
Other than that, this has been a great set for them. They’ve created various pastas, burgers, sides, and other food items. This is easy to recommend for any toddler/kid that is into play-doh.
Grandson approved!
Got this set for our grandkids for those days when “I’m bored” is the only phrase they seem to know. This thing was a hit before I got it out of the box. Our grandson’s excitement was infectious as I put this together for him. Assembly is less than 5 minutes and we were off to the races. This is super easy for him to use, he’s 4, and seriously he played with this for hours.
I really like that this set is immediately recognizable as a kitchen set. He was able to start “cooking” right away which was fun for me to see and easy for him to get started.
There are so many options for making shapes and different foods with this set that playability isn’t an issue. They’ll run out of ideas before they run out of options with this set. One thing I really appreciate is the little drawer that actually holds a majority of the tinier pieces for this set.
The set comes with a full spread of play-doh as well so you don’t need to buy more right out of the gate. For the price, quality, and serious play time here this thing is awesome. Would recommend!
Seriously, this toy is fantastic. The only thing I don’t like about it is just that all my 3 kids were fighting over using it, it’s that much fun!
Not only is the set itself super fun and works great with so many options for things you can make with it, but you can even swap out the noodle roller in the middle or the cap on the left side to make even more noodle options! The kids loved switching those out and rolling the playdoh out and seeing how what it made then was different than before which was really fun.
The set itself is super easy to assemble, and overall this set is perfect for a variety of ages. Everyone using it, from my 2 year old up to my 6 year old (and even me!) had so much fun playing with this and making the different noodles and foods and stuff that this thing can make.
I will say that we put the batteries in it and the sounds and stuff didn’t really add a ton to the experience, but that’s not really a big deal and is probably better for kids who like for pretend play than my kids do, my kids just like making stuff and being creative, and not as much on playing pretend.
All in all, I give this an absolute 10/10, definitely recommend, it’s a fantastic toy for all ages and the best playdoh toy that we’ve used yet at our house.
Get this if your kids love playdoh, you and they won’t be disappointed!

This saved a rainy weekend and revived some cranky kids. Out of the box there is a lot of creativity to be had. Assembly is easy and the instructions are easy to follow. They’re pictographic style so no words/uneveral to all languages and ages. So even my 3 year old could follow them. Everything seems pretty well designed and durable. I will say a few things I found frustrating. Some of the molds are so small thst it’s virtually impossible to fill them and get a useable shape back out of them. The other part that was only a little bit unstable was the side board/cutting board. It has one wide foot and the other side slides into a notch on the main toy. My kids knocked it off several times and I had to put it back together. Nothing broke and to be fair we were using this on a very small table so that was the main cause for its failure. The set comes with a great selection of colors and my kiddos loved the roller cutter. That and the pretend credit card machine were probably their favorite parts. They played with this for hours and we still haven’t even put batteries in it yet. Looking forward to the next rainy day so we can pull this back out and test out the sounds!
Fun kitchen set with lots of pieces and creative play
My kid has had a really good time with this Play-Doh kitchen set. There’s a lot included, so it feels like one of those toys that keeps them busy for more than just a few minutes. The little cooking sounds make it feel more like a real kitchen, and there are enough pieces and food molds to keep things interesting.
I also like that it comes with Play-Doh right in the box, so you can start playing pretty much right away. The set feels sturdy overall, and the pieces are easy enough for little hands to use. It’s the kind of toy that encourages a lot of pretend play, which is always a plus.
My only small issue is with the roller part. If you try to roll out a thicker piece of Play-Doh, the handle and roller don’t always fit together super tightly, so it can slip a little while turning. It still works, but it’s not perfect.
Overall, this is a fun Play-Doh set with a lot of play value. It’s colorful, interactive, and gives kids plenty of ways to make different foods and use their imagination.
