If you have a chihuahua you're going to want this
I bought this for my 11yr old chihuahua who’s arthritis acts up during winter and having to go outside and down steps in the cold weather- It’s pretty hard on senior dogs during the cold months and makes their body’s ache, same as old people lol. But this has definitely helped a lot! I notice he doesn’t wake up with stiff legs anymore and sleeps comfortably through the night (he cry’s when I forget to turn it on for him). I’ve had this for a little over a month now and 1000% recommend if you have older pets or pets that require extra warmth during the winter. This underneath a orthopaedic bed is chefs kiss! Paired with his joint/hip supplements and some salmon oil have completely changed him for the better. He’s way happier than he was before. If you have a senior chihuahua or small dog/cat that’s getting up there in age, this is well worth the money!!
My cat loves hers! She’s 17 (aka 80-ish in human years) I put another pad on the top of it, the cover itself isn’t really cushioned enough for her old bones, but the heat on lowest setting and can be set to stay on 24 hours which makes me happy not having to check it constantly. She even wants her treats on the warmer pad. She loves it and I do too!

My cat loves laying on my heating pads but they only stay on for two hours and this one I can leave on for 24 hours. It’s flat and not really soft but I love that it’s square. I was wondering why this heating pad could be left on for 24 hours when my heating pads couldn’t but I found that the heating pad doesn’t get really hot, I leave it on the third notch from the top and it’s just nice and warm for her. She doesn’t really like cat beds so I fold a couple of plush throws on the bottom corner of my bed and she sleeps there. What I did was put the heating pad underneath the top layer so she has the softness of the blanket and she has the heat from the heating pad and she just loves it. So glad I found this after all my searching through self heating beds and so many other heating pads, this couldn’t be more perfect. I highly recommend it.
Perfect for a small cat or dog!
Bought this for my new kitten, but my dog loves it too. Both of them K.O. once I turn it on. I keep it on level three for the most part. I love that the chord has a chew proof cover and the remote has a timer on it. It’s a good size for a kitten or small dog. In all, the quality seems great so far and I’m glad I bought it.
ETA: one improvement I would suggest is some sort of pet proof zipper. I always monitor my kitten while they use the pad, but they love to play with the zipper and pull it all the way around, exposing the inner pad.
Works well, but no constant on feature
The product works well, but note that the timer has no option for constant on. This is so inconvenient for me because I have these pads in outdoor shelters for feral cats and it requires that I reset the timers each day.
Chis are very happy
We have four Chihuahuas and when we go in our RV, it’s pretty chilly so I bought this and laid it under a blanket on the couch and they all for lay on it. We have one dog that is older and quite thin and likes to be really warm and he loves it the most. It’s a good size, I love the heat level choices and also there’s numerous timer choices as well. The court is cheer resistant. It appears although we don’t have chewers, thank goodness. The pad itself is not real comfortable. You can feel the stiffness in it, but with a fluffy blanket over the top of it, it works out perfectly. It is very functional for us!
This was an absolute game changer for our outdoor kitty!! She absolutely loves her heating pad!! It is super warm!! I love that it has several different settings and also has a timer if you don’t want to run it all day! It functions very well and was a great price!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!
