I ordered this to change out the control panel on our existing Rain Bird sprinkler system, and it has worked flawlessly. I was initially a bit doubtful about compatibility since it’s a generic smart controller, but because AI outlined that the irrigation industry runs on a universal standard of 24-volt AC electrical power, it confirmed that this controller uses that exact same standard to effortlessly take over and fire up our existing Rain Bird valves.
The 10-minute installation was incredibly easy, and setting up the 6 zones and customized plans that I wanted on the app was a total breeze. The automatic system skips for rain, freeze, and wind which is awesome for saving water without any manual effort. It def feels more durable, modern, and user-friendly than the old dial-style control panels, allowing us to effortlessly manage our lawn perfectly from anywhere!
I was skeptical about using an irrigation timer at this price. I never heard of this brand, however, I cannot find one flaw with it. I am currently only using three out of the six zones. The remaining three will be for my backyard three zones that I will be installing next year. I did mount it inside my basement and did not use the included waterproof box for outside. There’s nothing wrong with it and it is waterproof. My wife just doesn’t like seeing anything on the side of the house. The instructions are very clear and easy to read. It is quite simple to install or replace an existing sprinkler control controller. It was easy to connect to the app then set up scheduling. The app will suggest skipping a schedule if too much rain has fallen. I do not have a rain sensor, but when you set up the app, it knows your location. I can also turn it on or off from my phone with the app. My insulation took longer than 10 minutes because it was a brand new installation and I had to run the wires outside to the manifold. But if you are replacing an old unit or mounting it outside, then it is about a 10 minute install that anyone can do. I highly recommend this sprinkler controller.

I replaced a Rachio with this that died. This thing is excellent as a product, though the directions need to be more in depth. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one so when my other Rachio dies I will replace that with this!
Worth every dolla
I love this system definitely a great value compared to all the other name brand systems. Installation was easy. App took a little time to get used to. This thing connects like a breeze and with the box it looks like any other sprinkler box. I love the fact that I can be away from home and turn my sprinklers on! I love it so much I bought two system a 4 station one and 6 station one. One for front of house and one for back. Honestly I was very hesitant about buying this due to the reviews I read, but I literally tried the system for about a month. I originally bought the indoor unit that does not come with the box and to be honest I at one point thought man this thing sucks but I noticed the issues I had were not the timer it was my actual valve system. Once I fixed that this thing was so easy to use so I swapped to the outdoor ones. I feel like everyone who has something negative to say about it hasn’t truly given it the time of day and also hasn’t considered that you get what you pay for and I honestly don’t want to pay $80 for something that does the exact same thing. It’s a matter of being patient and willingness to learn.
