Decent Sound and Comfort, but Price Feels a Touch High
I’ve lost count of how many headphones I own (I might have a problem). My old inear running pair were uncomfortable and had awful battery life, so when these came up for review I jumped at the chance to upgrade.First impressions were good: the grey colour is a nice change, they’re lightweight yet feel solid. Two charging cables are included — they use a proprietary connector, so the spare is a thoughtful touch. Pairing was easy and I was listening within minutes.

The openear design is genuinely comfortable, and the sound quality surprised me — clear mids and decent bass. The only quirk is the rear wire: if you lean back on a sofa cushion it can knock them loose, though that’s easily avoided.

I’ve put these through their paces on a few walks (I’m not a runner) and they’ve been comfortable throughout. Podcasts and music both sound good and never fatiguing. They’re also IPX7 waterproof, so they’ll handle sweat and rain without issue — although it’s been dry recently, so I can’t comment on heavyrain performance yet.One thing to bear in mind is that the noise cancelling only applies to voice calls. When you’re walking near traffic or in busy areas, you’ll struggle to hear your content clearly; in quieter locations they sound very good for both podcasts and music.

I wouldn’t recommend these for commuting — despite what some other reviews say. For that you really want proper overear headphones with active noise cancelling. I’ve barely used the touch controls beyond power on/off as I never get on with them on any headphones, and prefer using my phone or music player instead. At 29.99 they feel a touch high. If you see them at 24.99 or below, they’re a solid buy if you want a comfortable, lightweight pair of sports headphones.

    Decent budget option for exercise
Overall, these are a decent open-ear earphones.

They come in a very compact box, with the headphones themselves alongside two proprietary magnetic charging cables. I understand the desire to use the proprietary magnetic cable foo this style of headphone, and I do give credit to OHAYO for including two cables in the box instead of one, but it’s a shame there isn’t USB-C for convenience.

The headphones themselves has quite a glossy finish, which I’m not a huge fan of. It makes it look a little cheap and does attract finger prints, but at least it doesn’t affect functionality. The capacitive buttons are on the outside of the earphone sections, with a light that shines through to show you when its on.

In terms of performance, these are not bone conduction earphones, but instead have speakers on the sections that sit just above the ear canal. This approach has some pros and cons. It does mean the audio can be better directed into the ear while also maintaining all the benefits of open-ear so you can still have full awareness of your surroundings. The downside is that bass is almost non existent, and there is quite a lot of distortion. Ideally, you won’t be listening at those louder levels, but in average street environments, I found that spoken word – both podcasts and audiobooks – were a little challenging to hear well with these.

In terms of fit and comfort, these are good but with a couple of caveats. They fit well enough with glasses, and are good for exercise, being both lightweight and open-ear. However, the one-size-fits-all neckband doesn’t really fit me. It’s far enough off my neck that I can feel a bit of a bounce while running. It’s not a dealbreaker, but can get a little irritating when going at speed. And they simply do not work when sitting or lying down. If my head rests against anything, the band is pushed into my neck and presses into my ears, making them very uncomfortable. If you have a bigger neck/head, you hopefully shouldn’t have the same issues.

    Surprisingly good budget headphones.
I was unexpectedly pleased with these headphones. They are very comfortable and the sound is surprisingly good. I got these for my young granddaughter who is very picky about things on her ears, and she was happy with them. I would have given them 5 stars if it weren’t for the short proprietary charging cords.

Great sound and comfort with good value overall
These open ear headphones really impressed me with how full and clear they sound. The titanium drivers give the audio a nice balance, with crisp highs and more depth than I expected from an open design. They’re extremely comfortable too, with soft silicone and a lightweight feel that makes them easy to wear all day without any pressure on the ears.

I’m not really used to open ear headphones compared to the usual inear buds, so they felt a bit different at first. On the running machine they stayed in place well and never came loose, but the sensation still feels slightly off to me because they shift a little during movement. It’s not enough to cause any problems, just something I’m still adjusting to with this style.

One thing I’ve noticed is that because these aren’t touch sensitive, you have to physically press the buttons to change volume or skip tracks. That’s not the easiest thing to do mid jog, especially when you’re trying to keep your pace. My usual goto headphones use tap controls, so I’m more used to quickly adjusting things with a light touch rather than pressing a button. It’s not a major issue, but it does take a bit more effort during a run.

Battery life easily gets through long sessions, and the physical buttons themselves are reliable once you get used to them. The Bluetooth connection stays stable whether I’m listening to music or taking calls, and call quality is clear even in busy places. Switching between two devices is seamless and genuinely useful.

Overall, they’re comfortable, dependable, and sound great for everyday use or exercise, and considering the performance you get, they offer genuinely good value. The extra charging cable and the 18m warranty is a nice bonus.
