This is indeed an absorbent bath mat. Even just getting out of the shower and stepping on this mat, there are no excessive wet spots after stepping on the mat again minutes later.
The color matches perfectly with the tiles in our basement bath and shower. The very thick dense rubber backing is fantastic and resembles what one would find on premium bath mats.
You can tell this is a premium bath mat because as soon as you lift it up, it’s weighty due to the rubber backing.
This bath mat has a tweed-like weave texture that is both soft on the feet and functional as it keeps water droplets from floating and staying at the top.

I got this for my camper bathroom and while it’s not a perfect fit, I really like it and am happy with it. It’s thin enough so that it doesn’t interfere with the door. It’s not exactly soft, but it feels substantial and durable and not like it’s going to fall apart anytime soon. It stays in place and doesn’t slide around when we step on it (my previous mat slid all over the place and drove me nuts!). It really is absorbent and dries quickly (although, living in a dry climate, that’s not much of any issue anyway). It’s simple, no frills, and just works well. My only hesitation is that you can’t put it in the washing machine, but it seems simple enough to clean by hand and I already know it dries quickly. I am satisfied with it and it’s already been a great upgrade for my camper bathroom.

I ordered this bath mat because I have a curved shower, and regular bath mats weren’t working. I love it!!
The mat fits the curve of my shower as if it were custom made. It is thin enough that my door closes over it, which doesn’t happen with standard bath mats. It is very attractive, and has a surprisingly soft feel when I step on it.
It is also very absorbent, and dries super fast! That’s a great feature, especially when you have multiple people taking showers. It does not slip at all when you step on it, and it really stays in place wherever you put it.
The listing says to clean it with a brush, but it also machine washable. I put mine in cold water, but didn’t put it in the dryer. I was afraid that it would break down the nonslip backing.
I think this high quality bath mat is well worth the price. It is attractive, effective, solves multiple problems for me. I highly recommend it.

While it is a very functional piece, it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting upon arrival, largely because I didn’t double-check the measurements against my floor space carefully enough.
Size & Profile: For my specific layout, the mat is a bit smaller than I anticipated and doesn’t quite cover the entire area I needed. It is also thinner than I expected—about 1/4 inch thick.
Because it is so low-profile, it doesn’t have that “squishy” or plush feel of a traditional bath rug. While the thinness helps it stay flat and prevents tripping, it might feel a bit sparse if you have a large bathroom.
Performance & Absorbency:
-Despite being thin, the absorbency is impressive. We have an open shower entrance, and water often sprays out (especially during dog baths). This mat manages to soak up moisture quickly, drying in just minutes. I haven’t noticed any musty smells, so it’s very effective at its primary job of keeping the floor dry and safe.
Stability: The non-slip rubber backing is excellent. Unlike my previous rugs that would slide around, this stays firmly in place on the tile. It’s very stable, which is a major plus for safety.
Maintenance & Look:
It is a woven faux-linen material that is quite stain-resistant. Note that it is hand-wash only, so you can’t just toss it in the machine. I’m still deciding if the aesthetic is exactly the look I’m seeking for this renovation, but there is no denying that it is a “stay-put” solution that works well for water management.
