large size makes it useful for more than just presentations
The 24″ 36″ format provides a lot of workspace for projects. Whether you’re making displays, mounting photos, building models, or creating signs, the larger size gives you room to work without needing to piece multiple boards together.
The foam core strikes a nice balance between rigidity and weight. The boards are stiff enough to stay flat and support mounted materials, yet light enough to transport easily. The black color is also a good choice for presentations and displays because it creates strong contrast and helps artwork, photos, and lettering stand out.
The surface is smooth on both sides and takes adhesives well without immediately soaking through or becoming messy. I also appreciated how easy the boards are to cut. Sturdy Foam Board for Displays and Projects
These are good substantial foam boards for presentations, mounting artwork, signs, school projects, and other situations where ordinary poster board isn’t rigid enough.
The 24-by-36-inch size provides plenty of working space, and the roughly quarter-inch foam core gives the boards enough stiffness to hold their shape without becoming excessively heavy. The black surface is especially useful when you want photographs, illustrations, or lighter-colored graphics to stand out without having to add a separate background.
I also like that they’re acid-free, which makes them more appropriate for mounting photographs, prints, and other pieces you may want to keep rather than just creating a temporary presentation.
Getting three boards in the package makes this a useful basic supply to have around for design, presentation, framing, or craft projects.
I picked these up to make a couple of poster displays for a school project, and the size alone makes them worth having on hand. At 24 by 36 inches, each board gave plenty of room to lay out photos and text without piecing multiple smaller boards together. The white surface is smooth on both sides, so we ended up using the front of one and the back of another after a small mistake, which was a nice bonus.
The thickness feels just right at a bit under a quarter inch. It gives real durability and rigidity, so the boards stayed flat and did not bow or sag once mounted upright, but they are still light enough to carry around without feeling like a chore. Quality wise, the foam core cut cleanly with a basic craft knife, and the edges did not crumble or leave a mess behind, which made custom shapes easy to manage.
Versatility is where this set really shines. Between the three boards we used one for a school presentation, one for a photo collage, and kept the third on hand for a last minute sign. Markers and paint did not bleed through the surface, so it worked well for both writing and simple artwork.

Very sturdy foam board, I used mines to secure a giant photo for a back drop. Held up very well outside all night. The three pack is a good buy.
