Let’s just get this in of the way. I had to deduct a star because I just don’t see the value for the price here. While this is a nice tray made of natural Italian travertine, you can find trays like this at those stores that rhyme with tome hoods for half the price every day. Now, for the good news. This is a cool, natural marble tray. It is rustic looking in the best way. There are rough, porous spots that are consistent with natural travertine. It is nicely shaped and has smooth finished edges. It’s is hefty, as expected, and with proper care I expect it will last for a very long time. Maybe forever. It’s a very pretty, natural light brown/tan color. Goes perfect with my minimalist, Scandinavian vibe.

Wife saw this come out of the box and it didn’t make it back to me. Now it lives on the bathroom counter holding her perfume bottles until she changes her mind. Apparently that’s where it was going all along.
This is actual travertine, not a resin lookalike. You can tell because the surface has the natural pits and small holes in it. Some reviewers will see those as flaws. They’re not. That’s what travertine looks like before it’s filled and polished smooth like a tile floor. Leaving them unfilled is the point. Matte finish, not glossy.
Oval shape, about a foot by six inches. Deep enough to corral a handful of bottles without them sliding off if something gets bumped. It is not lightweight, it is stone!
Little adhesive feet come in the package. You peel and stick them to the bottom corners yourself. They keep the stone from scratching the counter and give it a tiny bit of lift. You might not need them, but they are there.
