The cream itself has a light baby blue tint and smells lightly scent of menthol. The coolness feel on the skin provides temporary relief from surface pain, but unfortunately, it does not address underlying muscle pain. It does, in my opinion, provide a sense of calm, probably from the menthol and lidocaine. The Active Ingredients listed on the container are as follows: Menthol (3.70%); Lidocaine HCL (1.0%); Magnesium Chloride HPUS (2.0%). The packaging of the product is very well presented, unexpected and beautiful. It came in a pretty light blue, ribbon-wrapped reusable box with some extras, a small roller ball, and a few packages of mini gummy bears, along with a nice letter. There is quite a bit of the product, so it will last a while.

It’s like icy hot plus magnesium cream. You get the instant hot/ cold sensation that helps relieve muscle aches immediately, plus the magnesium that will give a longer lasting relief. It’s a nice combination since you get the temporary relief in the interim of waiting for the relaxing effects of the magnesium.
The cream comes in a tub. It’s easy to scoop out what you need, especially for larger areas. The cream has a nice menthol type smell to it. It’s made in the USA.

The lotion is thick so it’s more like a cream. It has a creamy texture but absorbs into the skin pretty easily and quickly. It has a pleasant menthol smell.
