I bought this mainly for eyebrow shaping and eyeliner application, and the 10x magnifying mirror side is exactly what I needed. The 1X side is great for seeing your full face, but flip it over and you get that powerful 30X zoom that brings every tiny hair and pore into sharp focus. One thing to keep in mind—you’ll want to hold it about 4 inches from your face for the clearest, distortion-free view. Once you get the distance right, the image is crystal clear. I’ve been wanting a mirror like this for my makeup area, and I’m really happy with it. The lighting is one of my favorite features because I can change the color and brightness depending on what I’m doing. The regular side gives me a clear view, while the magnifying side is really helpful when I’m doing smaller details like eyeliner or brows. I also like that it’s rechargeable, so I don’t have to keep it plugged in while using it.
Bright lighted travel mirro
This is a generously sized mirror for being a travel mirror. Not only is the mirror’s diameter a good size so that you can actually see your entire face at once, but the arm holding it to the stand is pretty long as well. The stand, or base, of this mirror is pretty thin, probably to make it “lightweight” for portability, but it also makes it top-heavy so it wants to tip over in certain positions.
The mirror itself is clear & seems well made. There is a power button built right into the glass that turns the light on & lets you toggle between the 3 light colors. The one side of the mirror is non magnified while the other is 30x’s magnification. And yes, it is just as strong as it sounds. Lol.
The mirror folds down flat into a nice compact size and has a soft protective pouch to store it in for traveling.
This is a nice, well designed travel mirror. It functions as it should & is lightweight as well as not being overly bulky for packing. I did take a star off for the thinness of the base, which isn’t equally balanced with the mirror end.
