First of all, you should know what you are getting: cheap furniture. This is an assemble-yourself, low-grade-materials bench. All the parts are small so that it can fit in a small shipping box, which means some pieces which could have been made as one piece must be joined together. It’s not a good way to make long-lasting items, because every joint is a possible failure point.
Furthermore, the “wood” is a cheap veneer over what is likely cheaper wood.
HOWEVER.
The design is obviously well-thought-out to make the sturdiest possible item from the given limitations. The top attaches to the frame in more places than is strictly necessary to help with stability. The legs are a boxed construction, but also have angled support bars to aid in stability. The center bottom support has adjustable screw-in legs so you can actually ensure that the center is well supported. I can’t think of anything I would have done different with the structural design.
All that means that it felt light and cheap when I sat on it, but even at over 200 lbs, I had no worries of collapse and in fact was surprised at how sturdy it was. At $37 currently, it is maybe on the high end of what I might pay for it, but I’ll also admit that I haven’t bought furniture in a long time and haven’t made many comparisons. Just don’t expect it to be solid wood, and then look for a price/sale that you’re comfortable with.

I have a coffee table in my living room that can open up to a small table. When my family comes over, the kids often sit at this table to eat since there isn’t enough space at the table. I bought this bench because it fits at the right height for the coffee table and matches the color of my floor. It was easy to put together and pretty sturdy. I’m around 210 lbs and it held my weight no problem. It’s the perfect size for my living room since it doesn’t take up too much space but can sit a couple of kids pretty easily. It’s also small enough to move easily when I need it for other uses. The price is pretty reasonable for an item like this. Overall, pretty pleased with the purchase.

Assembly went smoothly overall. The only hiccup was making sure the pieces were oriented correctly. I had to backtrack on a couple parts, but that was on me, not the bench. Once everything was lined up, it came together quickly.
The bench feels sturdy and well balanced. It sits a little lower than a typical kitchen bench, but that actually made it perfect for my grand-kids. They sit on the floor in front of the couch and use it like a small coffee table for snacks and TV time, and it handles that role really well.
The frame feels strong enough to deal with whatever the kids throw at it, and the size makes it easy to move around when I need it somewhere else.

I received this product from the Amazon Vine program in return for an honest review. I absolutely love this bench. It came packaged well with directions and the hardware to put it together. It was very simple to put it together. Once put together. It’s very sturdy. I’m actually 200 pounds and I sat on it myself with no problem no noises no bending no creaking. It’s a beautiful addition you can use it in many different ways. This happened to fit perfectly underneath the table, we have behind our sectional sofa and it fits right underneath. It can be used as a decorative piece or it can be used for children sitting on a table it can be used for probably only one adult. I wouldn’t recommend two adult adults but holiday time it’s perfect. I can pull that out. Take the decorations off of the table and an adult can sit there and eat or a Child could sit there and eat. You could use it to sit down and put your shoes on if you’re somebody that needs to sit down and put shoes on you could do that. It can be used in a bedroom at the foot of a bed. It can be used for many different things. It’s very modern very chic rustic. It’s just a really nice item. It’s a nice addition. It will work well for children or for an adult to sit on just as a decorative piece. It’s small it fits under furniture so it’s compact. it’s not large. It’s not bulky. It comes with directions to put it together. It comes with the hardware it takes about 30 minutes to an hour to do it and it’s just a fun, cute accent piece very sturdy very modern very decorative. Decent bench/ coffee table
his is sold as a bench, but im using it as a small coffee table/meal table, and its pretty perfect. its a little smaller than I expected it to be, but seems well made and decent quality.
