Magnetic Body Camera Mount for Axon Body 2/3/4/Workforce
Magnetic Body Camera Mount for Axon Body 2/3/4/Workforce Mechanically captured magnets and an injection-molded nylon core provide a secure, durable mount for duty uniforms.
- COMPATIBLE FIT – Designed for Axon Body 2, Body 3, Body 4, and Body Workforce, providing a secure replacement or additional mounting option for daily duty use.
- CUSTOM STEPPED MAGNETS—MOLDED IN, NOT GLUED – Each custom magnet has a narrow upper contact face and a wider lower retention flange. During molding, the ABS housing mechanically locks around the wider lower section while leaving the upper magnetic face exposed for direct contact and strong holding force. The magnet is physically retained inside the base without adhesive, eliminating the glue-failure point found in conventional adhesive-mounted designs.
- INJECTION-MOLDED RETENTION CORE – The one-piece nylon core provides consistent dimensions, controlled flexibility, and a close, repeatable camera fit through routine attachment and removal.
- FAST UNIFORM ATTACHMENT – The two-piece magnetic design secures through compatible uniform fabric without MOLLE webbing, garment modification, or complicated tools.
- BUILT FOR REPEATED USE – Durable nylon and ABS construction supports routine installation and removal while maintaining a secure camera interface. Package includes 1 Magnetic Body Camera Mount set.

Camera Stays Put On Duty
Uniform gear has a way of becoming annoying very quickly when something shifts every time you sit down or climb into a vehicle. This mount locks onto MOLLE webbing firmly and gave my body camera a much more stable position than the loose clip arrangement I had been using. The attachment points feel solid, and once everything was seated correctly I stopped thinking about the camera bouncing around.
It is compact enough that it does not add a giant block of hardware to the front of my vest. I also like being able to remove the camera without completely dismantling the mounting setup. The fit is snug, so installation required a little more pressure than I initially expected, but I would rather have that than something loose.
Secure and sturdy mou
This molle camera mount feels sturdy and arrived in clean condition. The material has enough rigidity to hold its shape without feeling excessively bulky to my Molle webbing, and the strap placement was straightforward to understand. The camera connection feels secure when properly seated, with no obvious looseness around the contact points. I like the simple black finish because it blends well with the rest of my gear. The edges are smooth, the stitching looks even, and the hardware moves without sticking. It takes up very little space when stored. The package included the mount as described, with nothing missing or damaged. Good quality and worth purchasing.
I put this mount through a few training sessions with my Body 3 attached to the front of my tactical vest. My drills include running, quick turns, squats, and getting up and down repeatedly, so there is plenty of movement. The camera stayed close to my vest and did not swing around much while I was moving. The two attachment points give the camera a wider base, which feels more stable when I pick up speed or change direction. The camera sits snug in the nylon holder without being difficult to remove. I could work through several drills without constantly looking down to see whether my Body 3 had shifted or tilted. I have taken the camera on and off several times between training sessions, and the retention has stayed consistent. That matters when I am handling the camera frequently and moving through different drills. Once training starts, I would rather focus on my pace, positioning, and the next movement instead of checking the camera on my chest every few minutes.
One Clip Cleans Things Up
I wanted a body camera mount that did not take over a huge section of MOLLE webbing, and this compact design solves that nicely. Installation took a little patience the first time because the fit is intentionally snug. Once locked into place, though, it feels far more secure than the loose generic clips I have dealt with before. The camera sits close to the vest instead of sticking out awkwardly and bouncing around with every step.
The molded body feels rigid and there is very little flex when I pull on it. I particularly like using only one MOLLE column because it leaves neighboring webbing available for other gear. Removing the mount is not something I would want to do casually every five minutes, but I see that more as a tradeoff for the secure attachment. The hardware sits neatly without sharp corners catching on clothing or straps.
This camera mount is amazing! I shoot action event videos and wear a body cam to capture first person POV. I have been using a couple of different neck/chest rigs to mount the camera but they are cumbersome to put on and require strap adjustment etc. This mount is 2 piece, each side having super strong magnets that allow the user to place one half inside a garment and the other half outside. The magnets are so strong that I have no fear they are going to come apart unexpectedly. If you are getting this, you need to be aware that it is made to be compatible with the AXON style mount and if you intend to use this with any other type of action camera you will need to adapt it in some form which I found to be fairly easy by removing the 4 #1 Philips head screws on the mounting plate, removing a molded plastic clippy piece that it in between and then using a GOPRO style 1/4″-20 camera mount with a short 1/4″-20 screw. If you have the AXON camera this is a no brainer; take it out of the box and you are in business. The quality of this is solid. It isn’t cheap but it IS a great solution and makes camara mounting flexible and easy.
solid stability for my camera
There are times when I step out of the patrol vehicle and need to move quickly toward a call. In those moments, the last thing I need is my body camera bouncing across my vest or shifting to the side while I run. This mount keeps my Axon camera close to my chest and feels solid once secured to my vest. The two mounting points give the camera a wider base across my vest. When I run, stop suddenly, change direction, or bend down, there is much less side movement. The camera stays where I positioned it instead of swinging with every stride. That stability lets me stay focused on what is happening in front of me without reaching up to check the camera. The molded nylon core feels firm while still having enough flexibility when attaching and removing the camera. Taking the camera off and putting it back on feels consistent, and the connection stays secure. This mount keeps my camera steady through quick movement, sudden stops, and fast changes in direction.
A Great Accessory for My Body Camera
I added this mount to my vest as a backup attachment point for my body camera, and the compact single column design made it easy to place without crowding my other gear. The core feels sturdy and gives my body cam a consistent fit each time I clip it in. The low profile shape keeps the camera from wobbling when I’m running on the job. Installing it took only a moment, and being able to move it between vests and bags without tools has been useful during my long shifts. The flexibility to attach it to belts, straps, or reinforced edges gives me more options. This is a very good and versatile accessory for anyone who relies on a body camera regularly.
Camera Stays Put During Moveme
A body camera mount is one of those pieces of gear I only notice when it does a bad job, and this one has mostly disappeared into my setup in the best way. Attaching it to a single MOLLE section keeps the footprint compact and leaves neighboring webbing available for other equipment. Once secured, there is very little unwanted movement when walking around.
The molded body feels rigid rather than flimsy, and the camera connection seats with a reassuring fit. I especially appreciate that I am not constantly reaching down to straighten the camera after normal movement. Getting the mount woven and locked into position takes a little more effort than a basic clip, but that extra security is the point. The hardware does add some thickness against the vest, although I stopped noticing it pretty quickly. I would still check the attachment points as part of normal gear inspection because anything worn in active environments gets bumped around.
