I absolutely love this harvest basket! It arrived just in the nick of time for a bumper crop of tomatoes, some HUGE zucchinis, and lots of peppers from our garden. It holds a surprising amount, and running back and forth to the garden multiple times to bring in all of our ripe produce is now a thing of the past!
The basket feels very sturdy, but it’s still lightweight enough to comfortably carry when it’s full. I especially like the wooden handle—it’s comfortable to hold and stays securely in place instead of flopping around while you’re trying to carry everything.
The coated wire mesh is another feature I really appreciate. It’s smooth against the vegetables, so I don’t have to worry about rough wire bruising or damaging the skins of our tomatoes, peppers, and other produce. You can also rinse everything right in the basket and let the water drain through, which is incredibly convenient.
And it’s really cute! It has a great farmhouse look and is attractive enough that when gardening season is over, I could easily see using it as home dcor, a kitchen or pantry organizer, or just a pretty storage basket.
Sturdy, practical, lightweight, and attractive—this has quickly become one of my favorite garden accessories. Highly recommend it for anyone who grows their own produce!
My Vegetables Now Have Their Own Tiny Farm-to-Table Taxi
This basket is SOLID. I was expecting a cute garden basket. What arrived feels more like purpose-built agricultural equipment for my extremely ambitious backyard produce operation.
The wooden frame feels sturdy, the handle is substantial and comfortable to carry, and the coated metal mesh has very little flex to it. This isn’t one of those decorative baskets that looks adorable until you put six tomatoes in it and suddenly you’re reenacting a structural engineering failure. I fully intend to load this thing up.
Now I just need my tomato and zucchini plants to cooperate.
At the moment, the basket is ready. I am ready. The vegetables are apparently still reviewing the terms of their contracts.
I especially love the mesh bottom and sides because I can bring produce in from the garden and rinse dirt off right in the basket, then let everything drain. That’s considerably better than my previous sophisticated harvesting system of “pull up the bottom of my shirt and hope nothing rolls out.”
It’s also genuinely attractive. The wood and dark green mesh have a rustic garden look without being overly decorative, so I wouldn’t mind leaving it sitting out with fresh produce in it instead of immediately hiding it somewhere.
It has plenty of room for a good haul, feels sturdy enough to actually carry one, and is exactly the kind of garden accessory that makes me irrationally excited to go pick vegetables.

Multi Use Harvest Baske
This coated metal mesh and wood harvest basket is a practical and versatile addition to my home. Originally designed for harvesting garden produce, it works well for collecting smaller items such as strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and green beans. Very thin or narrow produce may slip through the mesh openings, but for most garden harvests, the basket does a great job. I especially like that the open mesh design allows dirt, debris, and small insects to fall through rather than collecting at the bottom of the basket.
I’ve also found uses for it beyond the garden. Currently, I use it to store my daily vitamin bottles. The basket keeps everything organized, and its sturdy handle makes it easy to carry the entire collection from my linen closet to where I take my vitamins and then return it when I’m finished.
Assembly was mostly straightforward, though attaching the handle required a little patience. I had to gently pull the sides apart to snap the handle ends into their grooves. It wasn’t difficult enough to require a second person or significant strength, but it did take a bit of maneuvering to get everything aligned properly.

This has completely replaced the large plastic harvest basket I used to use in my garden.
The aesthetic is pure **garden cottagecore**, and it fits my garden world so much better than the old plastic basket ever did. It’s one of those pieces that’s just as beautiful sitting on the kitchen counter as it is out in the garden.
I love that I can fill it with a basket of fresh lemons, carry them inside, rinse them right in the basket, and then leave it on the counter as a display. Instead of looking utilitarian, it actually adds to the charm of the kitchen.
The size is perfect for a typical day’s harvest from a family garden—not so large that it becomes awkward to carry, but roomy enough to hold a generous amount of vegetables, herbs, or fruit.

Strong attractive baske
I was planning to use this basket for fruits/veggies on my counter — apples, avocadoes, plums, bananas — if I see them, I’m more likely to eat them. It would work great for that, and probably will in the future. But it’s so sturdy and practical and darn good-looking that I’m already using it to carry other things. Super comfortable to carry, even for this elderly out-of-shape couch potato.
The wooden parts are nice wood, lovely grain and color and strong. The end pieces seem to be attached to dowel rods by pressure, rather than glued seams. The wooden handle has to be inserted by bending it and inserting the ends into pre-drilled holes, held in place by compression. My elderly hands took about 30 seconds to accomplish that. The sides and bottom are a very heavy-weight wire mesh with a dark green coating.
The description says this basket holds 25 pounds, and I believe it. For me, that’s the perfect capacity — right about the limit of how much I can carry comfortably. It’s large enough to hold the amount of produce I should eat in a few days, so when I walk into the kitchen and see it’s not empty, I’m motivated to eat an apple instead of heading for the ice cream in the freezer.
At the moment, it’s holding Stuff I Need To Organize Or Toss — a small collection of unhoused possessions. Every time I walk past it (for example, to the freezer for ice cream) it yells at me to do something about this mess, and I’ve been hearing the call. It will soon hold the CSA produce that can be stored at room temperature. This basket is high quality and is great for organizing/carrying whatever stuff you have.
