Product description
I love it because it is stone it doesn’t get stained like the regular rugs, and absorbs way better than a regular rug. This is such a great idea, it just takes a bit of getting used to as first it was quite weird to step out of the shower to a hard surface, but once you get used to is the best. Definitely recommended.
First I am not using this as a bath mat. It was recommended to me to reclaim clay or to dry wet pots from our pottery studio. I must say it is awesome for those things. Once the goopy wet clay is smeared on to one side, in 30 or so minutes it is ready to wedge and throw. Pots dry really well too.
Works
It works wonderful at absorbing water, though it does show dirt really easily. It is flat and stable thanks to the grippy mat for the bottom that it comes with. No odor comes from it as of yet.
I was looking for a mat that not only looked nice but was also functional, and this one exceeded all my expectations. It’s made from diatomaceous earth stone—something I had never tried before—but wow, it really works! I also think it’s perfect for homes with kids. Traditional fabric bath mats tend to stay damp, develop bad smells, and honestly feel quite unhygienic. This one, on the other hand, is much cleaner, doesn’t trap moisture, and keeps the bathroom dry at all times. I’ve been really impressed by how practical it is, and I truly love it. For the price and the quality, I highly recommend it!
