came a little beat up but overall, in decent shape. all parts were sent and it does require quite a bit of assembly. it was pretty to easy to put together alone but 2 people would have been a lot better. it’s not super sturdy on it’s on but between a couch and a wall, it will work fine. it does have outlets on each end for lamps or whatever else you might need to plug in.
im in the process of moving and will add pics once i get it moved in and my hosue set up.
We bought this because our sectional is enormous (148″ wide), and while it’s incredibly comfortable, it’s not exactly convenient. End tables are too far away, remotes disappear into the cushions, and charging a phone or laptop often meant draping a power strip across the ottoman. We kept wondering if there was a better solution, and this table completely solved that problem.
We have it extended to its full length behind the couch, where it now holds drinks, reading glasses, remotes, charging cables, and the everyday items we’d normally have to get up to retrieve. It’s one of those products that’s surprisingly useful once you start living with it.
The tabletop has a vintage walnut look with black metal legs. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy for its intended purpose. Because the footprint is so narrow, I’d recommend using it behind a sofa or pressed against a wall rather than freestanding where people might bump into it. The included wall anchors are a nice addition if you plan to use it as a charging shelf along a wall.
One feature I especially appreciate is the built-in power. There are two charging stations—one at each end of the table—so nobody has to stretch across the entire length to plug something in. Each station includes two standard outlets, one USB-A port, and one USB-C port. Since the table sits behind the couch, the power cords stay almost completely hidden, which keeps everything looking much cleaner than having cords draped across the room.
The height isn’t adjustable, which may matter depending on your sofa, but it actually worked in our favor. It sits just below the top of our oversized cushions, so the table practically disappears while still keeping everything within easy reach.
Assembly took my husband about an hour and a half. He appreciated that all of the necessary tools were included, along with an extra screw for each hardware size. The adjustable feet make it easy to level the table on uneven floors, and the included rubber bumpers (shown in my hand) protect the wall if the table is positioned directly against it.
Overall, I think this is an excellent value if you have a large sofa or sectional and want to reclaim all that wasted space behind it. I never expected a narrow table behind the couch to make such a noticeable difference, but after using it for a while, I wouldn’t want to go back.
This is one of those products that makes you think, “Why didn’t I come up with this?” No more charging cables stretched from the wall to the couch for the kids to use — or for me to trip over. Even though I don’t place my couch directly against the wall (I leave space for storage), this still works perfectly. It gives us a convenient spot to charge devices while watching TV and provides a small shelf for cups, snacks, or remotes.
Assembly was straightforward. The metal tubing is wellmade, everything fits precisely, and all the holes and threaded inserts lined up without any adjustments. The construction quality is excellent, and it looks great behind the couch. The kit includes extra fasteners and basic tools, though I used my own impact wrench on the lowest setting to avoid overtightening. The box is surprisingly compact and everything is packaged neatly.
Functionally, it’s easy to adjust the width — we bought the 78inch version — and you simply loosen a couple of bolts and slide it to the size you need.
Great solution for keeping charging outlets accessible behind my recliner sofa
I chose this behind-the-couch table because my family is constantly unplugging my air fresheners next to the couch whenever someone needs to charge a phone or plug in another device. I wanted a dedicated place for everyone to plug in without having to constantly reach behind the furniture or unplug something else.
I was initially unsure whether this would work with our recliner sofas. I was especially concerned that the back of the recliners would rub against or damage the leather when the seats were opened. Thankfully, that has not been an issue at all. The table sits nicely behind the sofa, and we can use the recliners without the table interfering with them.
Assembly was also much easier than I expected. The pieces are well organized and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, the table feels sturdy and the length can be adjusted to fit the space.
The built-in power stations are one of my favorite features. There are four AC outlets along with USB charging ports, including USB-C, so there are plenty of options for charging phones, tablets and other devices. This has already made our living room much more convenient because everyone can plug in without fighting over the wall outlets. There is also plenty of tabletop space for drinks and other small items.
My only issue is the height. The table sits noticeably lower than my couch. I tried adjusting the height using the screw-in legs, but I couldn’t get the table to balance properly and the adjustment didn’t seem to make a noticeable difference in the height for my particular setup. This may depend on the height and design of your sofa, so I would definitely recommend checking the measurements before purchasing.
I love this! We used it as a side table for a space between the bed/wall and it’s perfect!!! Power cords and keeps things from falling under the bed
