Great printe
Rather happy with the over all function of this printer. Setup was easy, operation is easy, love the fact that I can print and scan from my phone anywhere. Because this printer will print two sided copies it saves on paper. The print quality is good and having visual ink levels helps.
This printer does not do 2-sided scanning. I run a small business and often scan up to 20 pages with information on the front and back of the pages. It is not time effective if I have to sand one side then manually flip it over to scan the other side. The information on the site was misleading and needs to specifically state that it only scans a single side. Other than that, it was the quietest printer/scanner I have ever had. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my needs. If you don’t care about 2-sided scanning it is a great little machine.
Relatively easy to set up. The app on iPhone got the process started but the only problem was the remaining set up had to be completed on a personal computer.
Good quality printing
Great printer over-all. Let’s break it down though:
Pro: very easy to fill ink containers. You just open the ink, open the compartment, and push the bottle down on to it. It fills automatically. I never owed an ink fill printer before and so far it was super easy. After you install the ink, you need to hook it up to the internet. Which again was easy. It’s fast and quiet when it prints. The outcome is great. Super crisp lines and smooth edging.
Cons: it took a little bit for my computer to find the printer. I had to go through the printers setup menu and adjust a few things. It only prints on one side, unless you manually fill over the paper. The main screen is not as fancy as I’ve seen. You scroll on direction and push on the tab you want, then go up or down in that area. I felt like this was a step back from my printer at home (this one is in my classroom).
Over-all: I’m happy with this printer. I have it set up in my classroom, which helps me out a lot. The fact that it can print 8000pgs before the ink runs out is amazing. It will definitely be put to the test.
