The Chaos Loop Challenge Playset from Hot Wheels Monster Trucks features two ways to play: race through the Slime-dripping loop to reach the adjustable catch-cup or launch straight through a wall of Slime to reach the cup. Load the included 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Chaos Wreckin’ Wolf into the slam-launcher, then turn the loop to choose the setup. Kids can add the Slime for an enhanced obstacle or race without it. It’s compatible with Speed Snap Track – add more track for an increased challenge – and 1:64 scale cars. Brilliant Slime Filled Fun for Hot Wheels Fans
As an avid Hot Wheels collector, I love finding sets that I can enjoy with my grandchildren and this one has been a real hit. The build quality is excellent, with sturdy components that stand up well to enthusiastic play. Mattel has done a great job designing a set that’s both durable and easy to set up.
The slime feature adds a fun twist without being overly messy and the boys especially love launching the truck through the loop and slime challenges. It’s a great way to keep their interest in Hot Wheels cars and trucks growing, much like it has for their grandad over the years.
For the quality, features and amount of fun packed into the set, I think it offers excellent value for money. Another brilliant Hot Wheels set that’s provided hours of entertainment for the whole family.

Great quality hot wheels set with slime, packaging was very bright and fun appealing to children of all genders and ages. It was easy to open the packaging as there was a specific opening labelled very clearly, and also all the pieces are clearly labelled with very easy to read instructions.
Assembling of the toy was quick and easy, making it ideal for myself as a parent and two very excited boys trying to wait patiently but eager to play with it. We assembled this together, instructions very clear on what to do. All parts are firm and solid, so they don’t break with a lot of use and no parts are flimsy.
This set is easy to play. Boys played with this for hours, adding their own cars to it and using more cars and objects to knock down. The boys were 4 and 6 and it was absolutely suitable for them destructive play without breaking anything. The toy is robust, making it a great toy for children who enjoy that type of play.
Overall great hot wheels set at reasonable price, were very impressed and would recommend .
Hot Wheels Knocks It Out of the Park Again!
I recently got this item and figured why not, I mean its Hot Wheels. Hot Wheels is like Barbie, very hard to mess it up. They (Mattel) know their demographic and they hit it every time. While this toy is a little smaller than some of the large scale Hot Wheel Contraptions its a nice set. It’s very creative. It’s a slime monster truck track. In short you take the slime out, put it over the top of the loop and it slowly oozes down. You set the monster truck against the launcher and have your kid slam it. My kids are 5 and 3 and it was a little hard for them, we eventually moved the track from the table to the floor and they had an easier time.
The nice thing about this track is that it rotates so it doesn’t just need to go around the loop for the monster truck, it can go through the loop (get shotput through the loop) while slime is dripping down and this way is definitely better especially for younger kids.
For $25 this is decent value for sure and seems pretty durable. My kids were slamming this pretty hard. Other hot wheels monster trucks work on this set, just not quite as good as the one that comes with the set. The slime that also comes with this is easy to clean and not overly sticky which is nice as you will need to remove it from the track and place back in the top so it can continually drip down for your kids. It was a hit with both my kids, and were at it for a couple of hours. Solid toy, fun combo for kids who love slim and cars at that age.
Chaos, Slime, and Monster Trucks A Perfect Storm of FUN!
The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Chaos – Chaos Loop Challenge Playset turned out to be a total hit for a friend’s kids who absolutely love monster trucks.
I wasn’t sure how the whole “slime meets vehicles” concept would go (Honestly, it sounded like a recipe for disaster!), but the good news is the included slime is surprisingly manageable. It’s not overly sticky, wipes off the truck without too much effort, and creates a very dramatic slime waterfall, which the kids found endlessly entertaining.
You will need to clean the truck after each session, but that’s part of the fun here. Just keep in mind that slime has a limited lifespan; monitor it and retire it when it starts to break down.
The playset itself offers two ways to play, a cool loop challenge, and a solid 1:64 Wreckin’ Wolf truck that fits right in with any monster truck collection.
Overall, this is a fun, messybutmanageable set that delighted some monster truck (and monster slime) enthusiasts. Thumbs up from the kids.
Silly chaos
My 3-year-old son absolutely loves this Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Chaos playset! His favorite part is launching the Wreckin’ Wolf truck through the loop over and over again. It’s exciting to watch, and he gets so excited every time he makes it all the way through.
The reusable slime adds a fun twist and creates just the right amount of “chaos” during play. He loves seeing how it changes the challenge and makes each launch a little different. The playset is sturdy, easy to set up, and has kept him entertained much longer than I expected. It’s a great combination of action, creativity, and silly fun. If your child enjoys monster trucks, this is an easy five-star recommendation! The value is great for this set as there is so much reusability with this one.
So much fun for a Hot Wheels kid
My grandson loved this toy. He’s 4 and loves monster trucks and the slime made him so happy. It’s fun with and without the slime and to be honest, after two separate uses, the slime felt different and stickier so we threw it away, but every time he comes over he spends hours playing with it. It was super easy to put together and it’s everything you expect from a Hot Wheels toy.
No batteries needed and it’s fun! What else could you need?
Ultimate Monster Truck Fu
I just gotta say, this Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Chaos set is seriously awesome! My kids and I had an absolute blast setting it up and watching the Wreckin’ Wolf truck zoom through the chaos loop. The reusable slime was a fun, messy bonus that added a whole new layer of excitement. It’s got two ways to play, so we never get bored, and it’s just the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Totally loved it!
Good fun with or without the slime
This is a high-quality set, just as you’d expect from Mattel. Everything is well made, the pieces fit together securely, and it feels robust enough to withstand plenty of rough and tumble from enthusiastic children. The included monster truck looks fantastic and races through the loop smoothly, although we did find the track is a little short, so it doesn’t build up quite the same speed as some of the smaller Hot Wheels car sets. Because of this, I think it’s better suited to younger children.
The slime feature adds an extra dimension to the play. My son had great fun trying to capture slow-motion videos as the truck burst through the slime. Thankfully, it isn’t nearly as messy as it sounds and was easy to tidy away afterwards with very little mess left behind. I also like that you can adjust the position of the landing bucket to make the challenge easier or harder, and rotate the loop so the truck smashes through the slime at different angles. It’s a nice touch that keeps things interesting. The set is also compatible with other Hot Wheels Monster Trucks track pieces, so there’s of scope to expand it in the future.
We had a great time playing with it, although I do think the replay value is somewhat limited on its own, as the gameplay is essentially launching the truck through the loop, with or without the slime. Even so, it’s a well-designed, durable set that’s sure to entertain younger Hot Wheels fans.
Slime and monster truck, perfect combo
Slim and monster trucks, what more could you ask for. With my boys we are used to mess everywhere, so slime didnt phase us. A great addition to any hotwheels fan or as a first set to get them into the world of hot wheels. Comes well presented in a massive cardboard box, showing you a picture of the track on the front and back. Theres a plastic viewing window so you can see the truck and pot of slime which are included. It takes a little time to set up, but once complete, looks impressive and a good size. The track can be set up to use with or without slime, which is quite fun. It has a lever at one end, push down and launch the truck racing through the slime loop and fly off the ramp into the air and attempt to get it them to land in the end pot. It’s nice you dont need any other track sets, you can just play with this one. The truck doesn’t land everytime, you need a few attempts to first get the hang of it and even then it doesnt always land, but this part of the fun. Would be abit boring if it worked every time. It’s quite a sturdy set and can be stored quite easily. A nice set and a good size, perfect for any hot wheels fan.

Our kid is obsessed with monster trucks. No matter the brand. If it’s monster trucks, it’s his wheelhouse.
This is a great little race track set. The quality is what you expect from all of these toys, so no better. No worse.
Assembly is pretty straightforward and easy enough that my 6-year-old could be a part of it, which he really enjoyed. The directions are subpar like most of the directions nowadays. But essentially if you look at the picture on the box it’s pretty easy to get together. I do really like how the track snaps together, I’ve never had one of these that is put together that way but it made it super easy.
The slime part is so awesome. That made for a lot of fun! It is slime so it is a bit messy so be mindful of where you set it up at but it cleans up pretty easy.
The monster truck that comes with it is good quality and it fits all of his other monster trucks. So we’ve had a lot of fun playing with it.
The colors on the toy are vibrant and bright and overall it’s just a really good little playset.
Price wise it’s fairly on par. I think it’s a good deal and I would certainly buy it again.
