I’ve been using this coffee machine in my studio for a while now, and it’s getting better and better with use. Whether I use a K-cup or my own ground coffee, the extracted flavor is always rich and smooth, not watery or weak. The brewed coffee is hot enough to drink right away, not lukewarm.
It’s perfect for small spaces. My desk isn’t very spacious, and it fits perfectly, doesn’t take up much room, and looks neat. It’s also easy to move around; I can even take it to my campervan on weekends without any hassle. Operating it is incredibly simple basically, just add water, put in the coffee, and press a button. I really like the transparent window on the water tank; I can see the water level without opening it, preventing it from burning dry.
It also has a descaling reminder and automatic cleaning function, which is very thoughtful for someone like me who’s too lazy to remember maintenance schedules. So far, the machine has been operating very stably, without any leaks or jamming. For this price, considering it supports both capsules and ground coffee and has a cleaning reminder function, I think it’s a great deal.
I really like having the flexibility to use whole beans, ground coffee, or a pod depending on my mood. On mornings when I want the freshest flavor, I use whole beans and let it grind right before brewing. The grind time settings actually make a difference, and I was able to adjust it to get a stronger, fuller tasting cup.

I have a K-cup machine that works well for me when I am by myself, and a drip coffee pot I can use when we have company over. But what I have not had is an electric coffee grinder. I have a manual one, but it seems like it takes FOREVER to grind enough for even a single cup.
That was why I was excited about this coffee maker. It can use K-cups, it can use regular coffee, and most importantly, it includes a bean grinder that will grind the beans and then brew the coffee on the spot.
This really does it all–K-Cups, single-serve brew, and freshly ground beans for brewing. It is also very beautiful to look at, and its narrow design means it does not take up a lot of counter space.
It is not a perfect machine, however. There is a learning curve to it. I thought I understood how to make K-Cup coffee, only to get hot water all over the countertop. I had failed to insert the K-Cup holder into the coffee tray. I also had a hard time figuring out how to make sure I got only the correct number of ounces of coffee. It kept reverting to 14 oz, which overflowed my cup.
But once I figured these things out, it is working like a champ. The only true negative now is the time it takes. My regular K-Cup machine keeps water hot, so when you put in a pod, it starts almost immediately. This machine does not seem to have a pre-warmer, so it has to heat each cup individually. It is not fast. There is no timer on the machine, so you need to wait a few minutes before the first–and highly important–cup is ready.
But other than that, I am enjoying the machine and the coffee it produces.
