HHJ BC07 Turbo Electric Air Duste
This device looks and feels well made. The included documentation indicates that the fans’ top rotational speed is 150,000 RPMs. I have nothing to measure or verify that claim; however, this tool puts out quite a powerful stream of air at high power. The Turbo duster has four speed settings that are controlled with one of two power buttons. An LED indicator on the side of the handle displays the power setting being used. The second power button controls a handy flashlight. This tool is very handy for cleaning out various equipment including computer keyboards, various electronics, general workshop tools/machines, as well as general maintenance on a wide variety of things. It comes with four nozzle attachments to assist in directing the flow of air. Additionally, it comes with 2 brushes (one soft bristle and one stiff bristle) and a cloth pouch for storing. This device is especially handy in a workshop that does not have an air compressor and sure beats purchasing cans of compressed air. My only minor concern with this tool is that the USB charging cable doubles as a holding strap. If used for that purpose, I can see possible issues with charging down the road with heavy use due to a short or disconnection.
electric air duster is a powerful reusable alternative to canned compressed air for cleaning computers, keyboards, electronics, vehicles, workshops, and approximately every dusty object that has been ignored long enough to develop visible texture.
The motor reaches a claimed 150,000 RPM, and regardless of whether anyone needs to visualize what that number looks like internally, the important part is that this thing moves a serious amount of air.
The four speed settings provide much better control than a simple on/off blower. Lower settings are useful around delicate electronics or small objects, while the higher settings are great for computer cases, filters, vents, car interiors, and debris that has become emotionally attached to a keyboard.
The five nozzles make it even more versatile. Narrow tips concentrate the airflow into tight areas, while wider attachments work better for broad cleaning.
Compared with canned air, the biggest advantage is obvious: it does not run out after several cleaning sessions. There are no cans to replace, no freezing propellant, and no declining pressure as the can approaches the end of its short and expensive life.
The 20W PD fast charging is convenient, and the unit can also provide up to 30W power output for compatible devices. That gives it some secondary usefulness as an emergency power source.
The built-in LED is surprisingly useful when cleaning inside computers, under seats, or anywhere dust prefers to hide in darkness. The SOS mode is more situational, but it is nice to have for travel or emergencies.
The airflow is strong enough that loose screws, papers, tiny electronic parts, and anything lightweight should be secured before hitting maximum power. Otherwise, cleaning the desk can quickly become relocating the desk contents.
Overall, this is an excellent reusable duster with strong airflow, good battery functionality, and plenty of attachments.
Five stars. My computer is cleaner, my canned-air budget is gone, and several dust bunnies have been forcibly evicted at approximately Mach 3.
Nice electric duste
So first impression is the build quality feels very solid, the duster has a nice weight to it and there are a good collection of attachments for different types of air flow included. Operation of the blower is simple enough, you hold the trigger button for a second and it starts blowing, you hold it down again and it stops. Pressing the button while its on goes to higher settings, the highest settings blow just as hard as any air compressor blowing I’ve ever used. The different attachments plus different blower settings give this unit a lot of versatility and reflects ingenious design. Battery life is really good, I’ve blown out several devices and the battery bar moves pretty slow. So you won’t need to charge the unit too often.
Overall I really like this unit, the build quality is very solid and the performance is top-notch. The asking price is for a premium device, and I think that this unit is a premium device indeed. To me this unit is a no-brainer and worth every penny. Highly recommended!
Replacement for canned ai
This little wireless air duster is very powerful. It has multiple speeds so you can use just what you need. It comes with different nozzles so you can direct the airflow. There’s also a light in the middle of the nozzle area so you can see what you’re doing. It can also operate as an emergency power supply to charge your phone, but I can’t imagine a situation where I’d have an air duster but not a normal power bank.
While I love the idea of using normal air vs the wasteful and persnickety canned air, I do wish it had a quick burst option. The button the way it works now requires you to cycle through the speeds and then hold it down to turn it off. I would appreciate a quick-response high-pressure on/off burst like you get with canned air.
Another thing that would’ve been great would be a carrying case with foam inserts for each of the pieces. It comes with a little bag, but it all barely fits in the bag and you have to dig around in it. The box it comes in is very close to what I would want for a case. Seems like an obvious miss at this price point.
All in all I’d still recommend the product, especially if you are a frequent canned air user.
Extremely Powerful and Well-Built Electric Air Duste
I’ve used quite a few different rechargeable air dusters, and this is easily the strongest one I’ve tested. The airflow is extremely powerful, especially on the highest setting, which makes it great for cleaning PCs, keyboards, electronics, car interiors, and other dusty areas. The different speed settings are also very useful and make it easy to control the airflow depending on what you’re cleaning.
Ease of use is excellent. The controls are simple, and switching between the four speeds is straightforward. The included nozzles are also useful for directing the airflow exactly where you need it.
Despite the power, it’s still fairly compact and portable, so it’s easy to store and carry around. It is a little heavier than some of the other dusters I’ve used, but I think that’s a reasonable trade-off considering how powerful it is and how solid it feels.
The main downside is the battery life at maximum speed. It drains fairly quickly when running continuously on the fastest setting, although that’s understandable given the amount of power it produces. I also really like the USB cable built into the bottom, which can be used to charge another device.
For value for money, I think it’s a good choice if you specifically want a powerful electric duster. I’ve tested several others, and this is currently the strongest one I’ve used.
VARIABLE SPEED HIGH POWER AIR DUSTER
Several years ago I decided that cans of compressed air were both expensive and bad for the environment. Since I didn’t have a lot of electronics, I purchased a very small air blower that conveniently slid into the side desk drawer. I was totally chagrinned when it didn’t even last 24 months! The second time around, I was looking for more power and versatility. So far, the HHJ duster has proven a good call. This model is cordless and rechargeable. I appreciate that I can use a fast charger with it. Its best attribute is that its functions are simple to understand and operate. The unit has multiple speeds and sustains quite a bit of “blasting” power. I think the built in light is a very useful addition. There are a number of attachments included and the unit can even be used for inflating small items. Lest you think this is a single use device, besides my laptop I have used it to help clean the car, bathroom and window sills. The only downside I have noticed is its relative loudness at higher speeds.
awesome powerful & versatile air duste
Wow this is one powerful air duster! Even at the lowest setting, the airflow was already quite strong. I love how well-designed this tool is, from the ergonomics to the cable placement. The charging cable is cleverly designed so that when it’s tucked away and unused, the flat braided cable acts as a wrist loop. You can easily pull it out to charge when you need to. Also so glad that it takes USB-C charging and not loose batteries! It comes with an assortment of nozzles and 2 brushes, as well as a velvet carrying pouch. The only way to change the power setting is to cycle through from 1 to 5 by short-clicking the fan button. IT always starts at 1 when you first turn it on, and each click makes it go up one. Because it is powerful, the hum is quite loud and high-pitched. It’s not painfully loud or irritating, it’s a level of noise you’d expect from this tool, but just something to keep in mind if you’re in a quiet office environment and don’t want to disturb others. It’s similar but maybe not quite as loud as a hair blow dryer.
The one thing I wish they included in the manual was more guidance on when to use what nozzle. There are so many, but I’m not sure what is most appropriate for which use case. The only one that is clearly labeled is the inflator attachment for inflating floaties and such. The others are just labeled, long, short, flat, etc. My guess is that the long ones are for reaching into small nooks and crannies, and the smaller the hole the stronger and more precise the airflow.
This thing is so versatile, you can get very creative with how you use it. Not only can it be used for dusting, but also inflating pool floaties, cooling hot food fast for your kids, removing crumbs and debris from car interiors, etc.
