I used it all winter with no problem such a comfy cozy warm blanket I am a afraid to wash it because all the electric blankets I’ve owned never worked after washing them, so I spot wash and use fabric softener but I go to bed clean lol
Soft and does get warm after a few minutes. Love the button function instead of the remote most have. Good size for someone around 5 ft 4. Cord is good length too.
I wasn’t sure if my dad would like this since it is a little more lightweight than his last one, but he is to this day telling me how perfect it is for sitting in his recliner and staying warm. He likes having the controls right in the blanket instead of on a cord.
Good for the price. If you can buy this for less than $30, it is a good deal. I feel in love with a Berkshire blanket I bought from Costco for $25 before Christmas last year. It was so good that I wanted to buy more for gifts but they had sold out. Come to find out that blanket is normally $75+! I do love it and the control being built into the blanket is so much better. The blanket gets SO warm. Well my dog also fell in love with the blanket so I found this one. It is not as good quality and does not get as warm. Example – level 1 on Berkshire is the same heat as max on this blanket, but that is my comfortable level anyway. She loves her new couch blanket and it turns off automatically after 4 hours. It is clearly a cheap knock off but it does the job and has the cool built in controller. The other difference I see is that the Berkshire actually tells you how many hours you have left with the lights while this one doesn’t. If you don’t need to cook under a hot blanket (I’ve woken up sweaty from the Berkshire) and don’t care about knowing how long you have left before the auto shut off – this is a great deal. Both are easily washable and have nice long cords too!
