This dryer is fantastic, and truly an excellent thing to have in a busy household with an 8-year-old, a 10-year-old, and three hockey players!
My kids were out playing soccer on a wet evening, and my son’s shoes came back completely soggy, muddy, and gross. After washing and disinfecting them, I towel-pressed them to remove excess water and put them on this machine.
Shoe Drying: The shoe attachments are incredibly easy to use and adjust to fit deep into the toe box. I started on low and moved to high, and they dried perfectly! Normally, no matter how much I clean them, his athletic shoes never seem to bounce back, but this worked wonders.
Sports Gear: Prior to the shoes, I used the low setting with the UV light function to quickly dry two damp hockey jerseys between same-day games. It worked flawlessly. I will definitely be using this for hockey skates next time they are damp!
Clothing: I ran an experiment with five wet adult shirts straight from the washing machine. I used the bag attachment, set it on high (no UV), and they came out perfectly dry with zero wrinkles. They lacked our usual dryer sheet smell but still smelled fresh from the detergent. (Next time I might clip a fabric softener sheet inside the bag).
The machine runs an auto-fan for about 10 seconds after finishing to cool itself down. As a worrier, I checked the plug and receptacle multiple times while it ran on high, and it remained completely cool to the touch. I thought this might be a gimmick, but it performs incredibly well.
