It effectively eliminated dozens of annoying gnats by the second morning! The fan runs silently without any zapping noises. It is completely safe around kids and pets. It is compact and fits nicely on the counter. Cleaning it is incredibly easy. You just slide out the bottom tray and throw away the sticky pad. It is the best purchase I have made for my kitchen this summer.
