I purchased this duo because I already knew I loved the peptide boosting serum. This is actually a replacement bottle, since I’ve already finished my first one.
The serum has a slightly unusual texture coming out of the bottle, with tiny cream-colored flakes suspended in it. It was a little off-putting at first, but they melt instantly as soon as you apply it. The serum is lightweight, fragrance-free, and provides a nice boost of hydration without feeling heavy. It layers well under makeup, sunscreen, or moisturizer, and has never irritated my skin. While I’m not sure it has a dramatic firming effect, I do feel like my skin has looked healthier and plumped overall since I started using it, which is why I wanted to repurchase it.
I was excited to try the matching cream as well. It includes a small spatula, which is helpful because the cream has a very unusual stretchy, almost “cheese pull” texture in the jar. It doesn’t have added fragrance, although it does have a mild ‘product scent’ that isn’t unpleasant.
The cream is much richer than the serum and takes more effort to spread because of its thick, tacky consistency at first. Once it absorbs, it leaves my skin feeling very soft and deeply moisturized with a healthy-looking and dewy finish that isn’t greasy. It really seals in moisture. I can apply it before bed and still feel that my skin is hydrated when I wake up the next morning.
I’m very happy with this set. The serum remains my favorite of the two, but the cream is an excellent nighttime moisturizer if you don’t mind its unusual texture. Together they feel like a luxurious skincare set with performance that justifies the mid-range price. It’s certainly not inexpensive, but I think it offers better value than many premium skincare products I’ve tried.
I’m 52 with post-menopausal, dry, mature skin, so I’m always looking for products that help keep my skin hydrated and comfortable without feeling heavy. This set ended up being a really nice surprise. It’s not going to magically erase wrinkles or make you look ten years younger overnight, but if your skin is dehydrated and looking a little tired, this does a great job of bringing back moisture and giving your skin a healthy glow. I also think it’s an excellent value since you’re getting both the serum and cream together.
The serum has a lightweight gel texture with tiny encapsulated beads that melt as you massage it into your skin. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and gives my skin an immediate boost of hydration without leaving behind a sticky finish. It layers well under other skincare and makeup, so I had no issues using it in either my morning or evening routine.
The cream is where everything comes together. It’s richer than the serum but still absorbs well and seals in all that hydration without feeling greasy. My skin felt soft, comfortable, and well moisturized for hours. When I woke up the next morning, my skin still looked healthy and felt hydrated instead of tight or dry.
One thing I noticed after using both products together was how much healthier my skin looked overall. Fine lines caused by dehydration looked softer, my skin felt smoother to the touch, and I had that fresh, well-rested glow that comes from good hydration. That’s something I always look for in skincare. Well-hydrated skin simply looks better.
The formulas also layer nicely with the rest of my routine. I had no pilling under sunscreen or makeup, and I was able to use them alongside my other skincare products without any issues.
Who will like this? Anyone with normal, dry, combination, or mature skin who wants more hydration and a healthy glow. If your skin often feels dehydrated or tight, this duo does a really nice job of adding moisture without feeling overly rich.
Who may not? If you have very oily skin and prefer ultra-lightweight gel moisturizers, the cream may feel a little richer than what you’re used to. And if you’re expecting dramatic lifting or wrinkle removal, that’s simply not what this type of product does.
I’ve been happy with the EQQUALBERRY NAD+ Peptide Boosting Serum & Cream Duo so far. These are newer products for me, so I spent a little time reading about the ingredients before I started using them. I have to say they’re impressive formulas, and at this stage of my life these are exactly the kinds of ingredients that I’m looking for!
I have combination skin that can sometimes be sensitive, so I was also happy to find that both the serum and cream are completely unscented. At $50.98 for both full-size products, I think this duo is a good value.
If you like packaging, the presentation is very nice. Both products come in heavy glass packaging with sealed boxes for product security, and they have expiration dates of 2028 and 2029, so I know they’re both fresh. They’re also a fun pink color, which makes them a little more enjoyable to use because I love the color pink.
The NAD+ Peptide Boosting Serum is lightweight and absorbed easily into my skin. After cleansing and toning, I applied a few drops to my face and neck and then gently patted it in to aid in absorption. This serum contains tiny ceramide capsules that melt as you massage them into the skin, and they disappear quickly. The serum left my skin feeling hydrated right away without any stickiness or greasiness. I also liked that it combines NAD+, 14 peptides, vegan collagen, five ceramides, and pomegranate extract to help support the skin barrier, improve elasticity, and protect against environmental stress. With the UV index being so high lately, I appreciate having extra antioxidant support in my routine.
The NAD+ Peptide Boosting Cream has also been enjoyable to use. It’s a lightweight white gel-cream with a phyto-mucin texture that’s somewhat similar to snail mucin. I’ve been using it morning and night on my face and neck, and it layers well with the rest of my skincare routine. It contains NAD+, a 13-peptide complex, niacinamide, pomegranate juice, and berry extracts to help hydrate, firm, and brighten the skin. I also like that it comes with a little spatula that clips neatly under the lid, making it easy to keep the jar sanitary.
If I had to compare the two, I’d say the serum absorbed a little quicker than the cream, but I think that’s mostly because I have combination skin that can be resistant to absorbing some products at times. Even so, neither product felt heavy, sticky, or greasy and they both eventually settled into my skin nicely.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using this duo. It’s still too early to comment on firming, lifting, or long-term anti-aging results, but my skin already feels more hydrated and comfortable, without any redness or irritation. And both products have fit easily into my routine. If they deliver on everything they claim over time, I’ll be a customer for life!
