I am genuinely impressed with these True Wireless Bone Conduction Open-Ear Headphones. From the moment I started using them, they quickly became my go-to choice for cycling, yoga, running, and gym workouts.
The open-ear design with earhooks is incredibly comfortable and secure. Even during intense movement, they stay firmly in place without any slipping or pressure. Unlike traditional earbuds, they don’t block your ears, which is a huge advantage when biking outdoors or walking in public—you can still hear traffic and your surroundings while enjoying music.
The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is fast and stable. Pairing was effortless, and I haven’t experienced any lag, dropouts, or annoying disconnects. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for open-ear headphones. Audio is clear, vocals are crisp, and bass is better than expected. The AAC/SBC support makes streaming smooth and high quality.
Battery life is another massive highlight. The earbuds last a long time on a single charge, and with the charging case providing up to 60 hours total playtime, I can go days without worrying about charging.
Finally, the IP68 waterproof rating is perfect for workouts. Sweat, rain, and dust are no issue, which makes these ideal for outdoor fitness or long cycling sessions.
Comfortable & secure earhooks
Great sound for open-ear style
Stable Bluetooth 5.3 connection
Incredible 60-hour battery with case
IP68 waterproof for sweat and weather
Overall, these are an excellent choice for anyone who wants safe, comfortable, and long-lasting wireless headphones for an active lifestyle. Highly recommended!
I really wanted to give these a five stars but I couldn’t because the battery life isn’t quite as good as I was hoping. Now this is going to be more than one review in one and I hope they don’t get disappointed about that but there’s a reason for it. For a long time I’ve been looking for just the right combination of headphones that would work for when I ride my motorcycle because I have rather small ears for one thing and I don’t like pressure on my head anywhere while I ride. So what I did is I took these wax earplugs that I bought from Amazon and I’m going to put a picture with my review. And I use those with the headphones and they work amazing when I’m riding and in general actually. It’s not just the sound the sound is good but the fact that it’s so comfortable that is what’s important for me while I ride my motorcycle.
My husband uses these for work and absolutely loves them. I got them for him for his birthday and he LOVES how well they stay on the ears. The don’t “cancel noise” but leaves you able to listen to what you like AND hear what’s going on around you which is perfect for a semi-driver. Cordless and the quality is TOP NOTCH. He was worried about them being too cheap but they absolutely feel and work like the pairs that cost HUNDREDS. Easy to adjust when he needs and extremely durable! He’s even worn them outside in KANSAS rain 3 days in a row recently and they’re still in perfect working condition. Don’t hesitate to buy and try because they’re worth every penny!!!!
Just what I wanted. These were slightly out of my price range but perfect for what I wanted. Waterproof feature is big for me, as I like to listen to music and shower. They stay on relatively well thought sometimes feel a bit loose. The contact for the bone conduction is surprisingly good for how loose they can feel ( no squeezing, tightness, etc ) and I wear glasses full time and they seem to be fine. Minor fatigue behind the ears, at the worst.
They do not bleed sound virtually at all, something I was worried about. It does become harder to hear the music if the environment is louder, but any open ear is like that and I like how I can still hear my surroundings sufficiently. Having a physical button instead of touch controls is something I was surprised to like so much.
Overall, worth the extra money for me. They are great.
Edit one year later- I had to come back and give my compliments to the chef so to say. I use these EVERY SINGLE DAY and I do not exaggerate when I say that. The battery life on these are insane. I keep them on almost constantly because they’re so comfortable I almost forget I have them on. Almost a year of daily use and they have not slowed down on me one bit. My only gripe is that if it’s loud, you can’t really hear them sometimes. I can easily forgive that because I cannot do in the ear headphones anymore. Other headphones that you pop in your ear would always fall out. Plus people often don’t even realize I have headphones on. I can wear these at work while being aware of my surroundings which is helpful. Honestly love these to death!
Original one star review: Super disappointed- these are NOT real bone conduction headphones. What a waste of time and money, I was so excited for these only to realize they’re falsely advertised
Edit to Add with more stars: so when I originally got these I was immediately disappointed because it was advertised as bone conduction but these are AIR conduction headphones. I was planning on returning them until my dog decided to chew on the case after they somehow got knocked off tbe table I didn’t spend all that money to not use them, so I took them on one of my night shifts and ok… I think I actually like them now. I used to put one ear plug headphone in before these, that way I could still hear my surroundings with the volume kinda low. With these I can have both in at full blast but still hear everything around me. Granted at full blast I might not completely understand everything said but I’m still able to realize I’m being spoken to or needed. One of the best things about these headphones is that they are SO comfortable I forget I’m even wearing them when I have them off. My ears used to get severely irritated by those ear plug headphones. The battery life is INSANE. I wore these for an hour drive to my job, an entire 12 hour shift, hour home again and I like to listen to audiobooks after I get home from night shift to help me sleep so these headphones also lasted from 8am-430pm. Granted they weren’t playing the entire time at work or while driving but my other wireless headphones could NEVER last that long. I also love how discreet they are. I’m still taking one star away for the false advertisement but I’m actually loving these on accident. Shout out to my doggo for destroying the case and also look at how resistant these headphones are to destruction! My dog used it as a chew toy and they still work/charge eventually I’ll be brave enough to wear these in the shower/pool because they are apparently water proof but now that I love these I’m scared to because I don’t want them to break I have worn them to wash my face. Oh another great feature is they DONT FALL OFF! I always had to readjust and keep putting back in my other wireless headphones but these babies stay put! From washing my face, to running with my dogs, to doing daily things and they have never fallen off or needed to be fixed. Honestly worth the money and would be 10/10 if I wasn’t petty about being tricked
Edit to Add ALL the stars: received a very educational email about how these are actually bone conduction headphones. They’re very different from the ones I’m used to, but I don’t even bother with my other headphones now that I have these. 10/10 I’m obsessed
– Summary – If looking for earphones to allow you to listen to books/music while wearing ear protection or not, look no further. These are an excellent option that don’t weigh you down but still get the sound into your ears clearly. If looking for bone conduction earphones, these are an excellent option.
Review (long and detailed)
– I’m comparing these to JBL “Tune TWS” in ear buds as they’re what I’m used to as a baseline of rather high expectations. My use is listening to audiobooks about 5-8 hours a day.
– Straight off, impressed by the packaging. A lift top box inside a sleeve and everything packed similar to a new phone, including a USB-A to USB-C charging cable under the little tray. Instructions/quick start is what you see straight off.
– Excellent Range/Reception from phone, over twice the range of in ear JBL buds, about 30ft away before it started cutting out, while with the smaller bud devices leaving the room would cause signal to cut out.
– Amazing battery life – earphone charge reports 70% after 4 hours of listening to high volume audiobook, then 30% after 8 total hours. For comparison, The JBL buds started out working at most 4.5 hours when new and are now closer to the 3 hour mark after a year of daily use.I no longer have to pause 20 minutes for recharge. I do not have longevity reporting on the bone conduction devices but will update if battery lifetime is abnormal.
– Clear and easy to understand instructions and diagrams. The instructions are printed on card stock in English so they’re not easy to lose and no need to page through a dozen languages and require a magnifying glass to read. The instructions have large and clear font and diagrams which makes getting started a snap.
– Easy to find control nub button, not a touch sensitive capacitive contact which works well to not trigger while positioning them on ear, though it needs two fingers to activate, one to hold the top of ear bow to get leverage to push in the button Nub switch. Prevents accidental triggering, but makes intentional triggering a bit more involved than a swipe.
– Very light and well balanced overall. Each earpiece weighs about 8.5 grams, 17 grams for both. Their charging pod/case is slim and fits easily into an extra pocket of backpack, jacket, or pants, it seems well built and could take a lot of squeezing to break. The Charging/storage case for the earpieces weighs 76 grams with both earphones in it, so battery/case is 60 g without buds, it is very light but feels quite sturdy.
– Bass is reproduced though I couldn’t find a perfect position for the bone conduction to get both bass and treble even, while letting them stand off most of the area naturally which gave good sound quality for narration. Sound quality is great for bone conduction, the bass isn’t super punchy but midrange and treble are very crisp and clear easier to understand than the ear buds I used before. I believe the lack of bass to be my error in positioning as it certainly feels like it is reproducing bass very well because it tickles ear if positioned wrong and the vibrations can easily be felt wit finger so it’s trying to provide bass, I’ll chalk this up to user error.
– Great for work in an ear protection environment. They grip onto ear very well and hold on through moderate activity. These work fine if you need to wear ear plugs and/or muffs for OSHA ear protection compliance. I found wearing muff hearing protection actually makes the sound better. Might be the shape of my ear, it’s making an optimal bone connection.
– Downside – the only major downside I’ve seen in any regard is lack of customization of button and audio controls. Still has volume/seek/play/pause functions, but they’re fixed. There’s no app that controls these earbuds the way some others do which give you everything from custom button press sequence options to equalizer.
– Wish list – Would like an extra feature, something similar to JBL “Ambient Aware” where the outside microphone is loudness limited then coupled directly to the driver so that you can easily hear what people are saying while wearing ear protection. The other features would be equalizer and “Find my device” which emits a loud beep from earpiece to locate it (see above regarding app)
– Final thoughts – NO regrets with this set, there are a lot of upsides, especially when working around ear protection such as loud work environments where other devices aren’t allowed at all since OSHA approved bluetooth earbuds don’t exist in the realm of affordable. I am very happy with them so far and will update this if any of the information becomes erroneous. Well beyond expectations
This is my 2nd pair of these. The 2nd pair was packaged much better than the first pair. I was hoping they were even better than before .
Why I like them: Small battery case, they come on when you take them out of the case, no wires, nothing around your neck (all those tangle in my long hair), secure fit, comfortable, easy to use, tiny button control instead of touch (music – usually loud – doesn’t come on when someone hugs you or you accidentally touch them), Do not go IN your ear, bone conduction and sound are ALL great for me. I am a very active person and often wear sunglasses and a visor and they still stay in with no problem.
What I don’t like about them: Only 2 things. I often lose connection between the earphones and the phone. So, when you are on a call or streaming music, the connection just goes away – it comes back but it’s a pain, especially when you are having a conversation. Neither of you know what part you lost so you have to go back and repeat the whole thing. It’s very annoying – like on a business or call with the Dr. I wear a fanny pack so the phone is always close and it STILL loses connection. These are NOT better than the first pair I had. Also, now, they changed how you make a call. You actually have to make an extra step to make a call. So, for now, I’m having to get my phone out each time and start the call with the phone. This is also annoying. I liked the old way better.
Because of the loss between the phone and the earphones, I think the price is a little high. I would still buy them again BUT hoping new versions get better.
Note: These can make your ear sore as it did when I first got my first pair. However, tip it a little to the front and it will get better. I wear mine ALL day and have to reach to make sure I still have them in since they are so comfortable. I wear them 15 hours or so a day and they are comfortable the entire time.
