I selected this handheld vacuum sealer because I liked the idea of storing smaller portions of food without pulling out a large countertop machine. It is especially useful for leftovers, snacks, produce, and meal prep items when I want the bag sealed more tightly and neatly.
What I Like

This is a handy little vacuum sealer for everyday food storage. I like it most for smaller portions and things I want to keep fresher without using bulky containers. It takes a little care to make sure the bags are lined up and sealed properly, but once you get used to it, it is a useful kitchen tool.
Compact Vacuum Sealer Machine for Food with 30 Resealable & Reusable Bags. This is a very unique vacuum sealer not to be compared to most hand sealers. This particular vacuum sealer has a small removeable plastic reservoir that sits at the connection from the vacuum unit itself and suction port on the plastic sealer bags. One of the biggest problems with sealers is, they can’t inhale liquids without ruining the vacuum unit. This is what separates this units from most. I have very expensive commercial vacuum units that are not capable of doing what this unit does. When using the suction with a slightly wet or damp piece of food. Normally the vacuum sucks the excess liquids into the motor and vacuum tubes which causes a mess and damage to the unit. This unit is designed to catch small amounts of excess liquids before it can damage your unit. So, if you have a piece of meat that you have just marinated, normally you would have to avoid using a vacuum sealer because of the excess liquids that would be drawn up into the vacuum tubes and motor. This unit catches the excess liquids and stores it in a small plastic reservoir before it can do damage to the unit. This is a very unique feature along with reusable vacuum bags which makes this unit worth every penny. Most vacuum sealer have permanent seals that the bags can only be reused after the contents is cleaned out and the bags have to be cut shorter each time because of the permanent seal that is down. You have to keep buying this vacuum bags very quickly after one or two uses. The bags are not cheap. This unit eliminates having to constantly spending money on new vacuum bags. Very easy to use and control. There is an “Auto” setting and a “pulse” setting. The Pulse setting lets you control just how much air you want to remove from your sealing bag. Each bag has a reusable closure seal, like on Ziplock bags that you manually seal with your fingers. Just make sure the manual seal is closed tightly or the vacuum can’t pull all the air out if there is a leak from not being closed properly.

I picked up this handy-dandy little smart vacuum sealer kit so that I could freeze muffins. I like to buy my muffins in bulk and then freeze them, but they get freezer burn if they are not vacuum-sealed. My vacuum sealer is too strong; it is for meat, and it squishes them. So this was ideal because you can vacuum seal these very slowly until they are perfectly sealed without squishing the muffins.
In this kit, you will receive 15 medium-sized vacuum sealer bags and 15 small-sized vacuum sealer bags, instructions on how to use it, the vacuum sealer itself—mine came pre-charged—six clips for the bags, and a charger to charge your vacuum sealer. There is also a cap for the bottom of the vacuum sealer. The vacuum sealer actually has suction on it as well, where it will take the juices out of something if you are vacuum sealing something that has juices like fruit, and it holds it away from the motor area so that you can empty it, which is a great feature.
You have the pulse button and the auto button on this. If you do auto, it will automatically seal it for you. What I like about the pulse button is that if you are freezing any breads, you can do it very slowly so you do not squish your muffins, bread, or hamburger rolls that you are trying to freeze. The bags are really sturdy, very heavy duty. They state that they are dishwasher safe. I do not know if I will be using the dishwasher on these, but they say you can. I am just going to wash them by hand and dry them out. But it is great that you can reuse them.
The full-on auto mode is very strong and seals stuff with no problem at all. I have not yet had the chance to do meats or berries with juices. When I do, I will update this if I have any trouble. It looks like they have allowed for a large juice-space collection area away from the motor, unlike some other vacuum sealers, so that is good. It has a nice rubber tip that keeps it in place while you are using it. Overall, it is a very handy object to have in your kitchen. The bags are the right size for muffins and raspberries, and blueberries you want to throw in the freezer. I love that you can reuse the bags. It is a handy little object to have. I like it. I will be using it often in my kitchen. I give it five stars!

I’ve always wanted a food vacuum and now I know why. I got to use this for the first time today to vaccum seal some raw chicken. We bought too much and I wanted to safely store some. I used a large bag and used the included zipper tools to make sure it was tightly sealed. This vacuum comes with a moisture attachment so if you’re vacuuming something with liquid it can seal all the way without clogging. I was thankful that none of the raw chicken juice went into the vacuum. With all of the small and large reusable bags included, I’m sure I won’t need to purchase more for quite a while. The size is great and it charges quickly. It also has a travel safety feature so it doesn’t accidentally start if you tap the button. I can’t wait to see what else I can keep fresher longer!

We really like this handheld vacuum sealer, and it has more suction power than I expected for something this compact.
