Great little printer — setting up on iPhone was super easy, and didn’t really require a read of the instruction manual either. The app does appear to require an email for account setup to use though which may a deal breaker for some.
The labelnize app is packed with templates and designs to test the printer with. For myself I’ll primarily be using it for the occasional package return. The label upload will depend on the file type but there’s uploads for both documents and images available.
Ran a test print and everything worked well, and the print came out quite quickly. Happy with the printer and cannot wait to print a ton of dog and cat photos to stick on my wife’s desk.
Bluetooth Thermal Shipping Label Printer, 4×6 Thermal Label Printer
This is a nice small, tiny, short, cute little thermal printer. I had purchased a thermal printer before thinking that it would do these shipping labels for me, but no—this is the one I need. 4 by 6. This is a small little printer that you can take everywhere you’re going.
I’m not sure how much the labels cost, but I’m sure once you configure the printer to print just that shipping label it’ll be perfect. This little thing probably doesn’t need a lot of power, and if you have like an SUV or something like that you could probably plug it into the AC outlets in your car or truck and it’ll work just fine. Now I happen to have like a big battery that I use for a cooler I keep in the car when I’m traveling, so all I have to do is just run another extension for it or just plug it directly into the big battery and I’m good to go.
Setting this up on my phone was a breeze. Just scan the QR code. I have an Android phone, downloaded the software, and apparently I already have an account so I just logged into my account and added this printer by Bluetooth. Then when you’re printing these shipping labels you just have to choose that type of printer and it’ll immediately make the right choice and print out the label.
These are fantastic. I’ve always wanted these. I’ve always had to just print it on regular paper and then cut it with like a paper cutter machine, trim it, and then tape it with clear tape completely on the box. Now I can look like an actual professional eBay shipper or PayPal or whatever and have nice quality boxes shipped to people. Now I feel a little bit more professional.
Apparently as I’m writing this review and looking at the printer this went for about $50, which I think is a great price. I’ll have to look up what the thermal paper will cost, but I’m sure over time you’ll spend more on paper than anything else. And of course because it’s thermal you never have to buy ink, and that’s a beautiful thing. Apparently you can get this 4 by 6 thermal paper pretty cheap—I see 100 labels for less than 10 bucks—so that’s not going to be an issue with this printer.
I did experience some weird questions from the app that I kind of ignored. It does get a little too personal with the questions. I just ignored it and installed it anyway. Apparently I have an account with this app somewhere else, although I wouldn’t remember because of all these generic names that they seem to always come up with.
If you ship a lot of things, or have to print a bunch of labels, this is the buy for you! It’s super compact, you can print direct from your computer, phone, or your tablet AND it’s requires no ink purchase. It connects via Bluetooth or usb and is compatible with windows or Mac operating systems. The instruction booklet has instructions for Chromebook set up, but I don’t have a Chromebook so I wasn’t able to try that one out. The packaging includes the QR code to download the Labelize app directly. I was able to do so without any issues. It comes with all the things you need to get started – A dc power cord, usb c cord, card reader, and a few sheets of label paper to get you started. The labels printed quickly and without streaks, smudges or crinkles. It’s lightweight,
So it can easily be moved around to wherever you want to use it. The instructions are clear and include pictures. I highly recommend this thermal label printer.
