My New Bag for Work/School!
This adorable bag is a beautiful pink! It is a true bright, pastel, baby pink. It is full of storage pockets. The material is a PU leather, and is waterproof. It comes in this beautiful pink or a black. The surface is a light pebbled look, something I have seen in fine leather purses. It also includes a matching zippered Bible cover case.
The smooth PU leather, light pebbled design, is easy to wipe clean and the stitching is reinforced throughout the bag. It is a larger size, which can fit a larger Bible or book inside the bag. the Bible or book case measures 7.4 x 2 x 10.24 inches. Even if your Bible or book is larger and will not fit into the actual case, it will definitely fit into the bag itself with plenty of room to spare. In fact, you can even fit a 14-inch laptop, a journal, and a notepad in the interior, along with a large Bible. My Bible is too large, but I can use the book cover case for a book I am reading. I teach English and I am always reading something.
There is so much storage! Aside from the interior storage, you have a pocket for your drink on the side of the bag. What’s more, there is an elastic band to hold this into place. The front of the bag has a large pocket that holds pens or markers, lots of them! It has an additional pocket besides this one for other items.
I initially selected this item for my daughter as a Christmas present. It would be an excellent Christmas gift or a birthday gift. It could also be given for baptisms, etc. Of course, you could get one for that teacher in your life!
I am a teacher, and I decided to keep this to carry to school. I can easily fit my work laptop, lesson plans, attendance book, charger, pens/pencils, highlighters, and so much more.
I love the crossbody shoulder strap included. The bag also has gold rings, making it easy to attach or detach this strap. What surprised me about this strap is it is the same PU leather as the bag itself. It is not a fabric. This makes the bag look very high-end.
The bag is versatile, as you can wear it with the strap or the attached handles. It really is beautiful and I could not be more pleased.
I highly recommend this to any lady (and don’t forget those teachers) who simply loves beautiful accessories.
Beautiful, Roomy and Amazing Quality
I am really impressed with the quality of this bag. It looks and feels much nicer in person, and you can tell right away that it is made well. The PU leather feels nice, the stitching looks good, and the gold hardware with the pink is so pretty. There is also a ton of room and plenty of different pockets to keep everything organized instead of having everything thrown together in one big compartment.
The matching Bible cover is really nice as well. I will mention that it seems to be made more for a larger Bible. My daughter’s standard size Bible fits inside without any problem, but there is definitely some extra room left over. That doesn’t bother me though because it still completely covers and protects her Bible, and having a little extra space is better than it being too tight.
I also really like that this doesn’t have to be used strictly as a Bible bag. It is roomy enough for a Bible, journal, notebooks, pens, a tablet or slim laptop, water bottle and other everyday items. Between the regular handles and the detachable shoulder strap, there are different ways to carry it depending on what is most comfortable.
This is such a cute and functional bag and the quality honestly exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it for church or Bible study, but also for work, school, travel or really anytime you need a cute roomy bag with lots of organizatio
SEMVEND Bible Bag for Wome
I’ll preface this review by saying I didn’t get this for a Bible bag, I got it for crafting and because I thought it was a very cute handbag.
The water bottle holder and umbrella pockets also drew me to this bag.
It comes in a really nice, sturdy gift box, wrapped in plastic, and then in one of those plastic-fabric bags. The PU leather is surprisingly soft and pleasant to the touch. Being so soft, maybe it won’t crack as soon as stiffer pleather bags do.
The hardware is all sturdy and in good condition, and the shoulder strap is a good length.
Since the divided holder in the front pocket was meant for highlighters and not crochet hooks, it’s a little awkward for my long-handled hooks. Shorter hooks might fit into that retaining pocket better than these do.
I do like the extra, clear pockets in there, too. It’s a great place to keep smaller accessories like stitch markers and scissors.
I did dock a star, though, because there is an issue with the pocket’s zipper right ouf of the packaging. Not only is there a gap in the teeth, which doesn’t seem to affect it’s ability to zip, but the interior trim on the seam isn’t installed neatly so it catches in the zipper, right in that spot where it’s compromised. The zipper will likely break sooner rather than later due to that.
I guess something went a little sideways when that area was being stitched and the zipper was damaged in the process. Since I’m not able to return this, I have to accept the damage and review it accordingly. This bag would absolutely be 5 stars if not for the zipper.
Other than that zipper, the rest of the bag is lovely, though I would prefer a lighter-colored interior lining just to avoid the lining discoloring things kept in the bag.
I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing with the book cover part. Either donate it or use it as a finished object journal, or something like that.
Gift for Mom!
My mother had several different bags she carried—her iPad for notes, her bible class supplies, things for a little girl that id her church buddy. I purchased this bag for her as a gift to try to reduce the things she carries. She sent me this text message when I asked about it:
“It Worked great!
I was able to organize all my supplies and add a drink and it even fit my purse. Only had to keep up with one bag. I use an iPad for my Bible so I used the book carrier for Bible class supplies.
It does get a little heavy and if you only need a little stuff it may be too big for church, but could be a good work case too. I had space for [her little friend]’s pens and notepad, and room for my pens too.”
Overall she seems pleased with it! She liked the option to have a crossbody strap or handheld, and the place she could clasp her keys for easy access. She always has a coffee thermos or water bottle, so having a place to carry it securely in the bag was a big hit.
You can carry everything; laptop, Bible, your purse contents, you name it. Great carryall.
I have Bible cases, and have given many as gifts; this is not what I would call “elegant”, or “pretty” as many of them were. It is, if I had to describe it, geared for serious business. And now that I am in charge of the Children’s Church program, and all that entails, that kind of carrier is exactly what I needed.
This can do everything, including carrying a laptop. I have tried to take enough pictures so you get a real feel for the benefits of this bag; but let me point out some highlights:
1) the bag is BIG. As in the ability to be 4″-5″ wide; deep enough to hold that laptop; pouches everywhere; for bottles, phones, pens, markers, your keys, and wallet. In short, it is a catchall.
The case for the Bible itself is not really elaborate at all. I would call it a bare-bones case; but that is OK, because I want to maximise space, and I use a “utilitarian” Bible for this work I do. The case does have a zipper and a bookmark; but you wouldn’t buy this case for the Bible case.
For the average person, you might not need this case; if you are a woman who has a job who also wants to carry her Bible, this might be just the ticket to put everything in just one place.
As far as quality: not top notch, perhaps, but I put my carryalls through some brutal treatment, getting in and out of my truck, etc. and I don’t want something pretty; I want something pretty much like this.
So this case is perfect for my needs.
Big Beautiful Black Bag
Now, this bag is much bigger and fascinating in person. This dream bag has it all: stylishly sophisticated and large enough to carry the Bible case, laptop, and mouse, too. I already put it to the test; it’s awesome!
The detachable shoulder straps are durable. The bag is sturdy. It can carry a decent load, even with a midsize Bible in the Bible case.
The PU leather feels smooth and looks expensive. Diggin’ the gold zippers and the stitch quality is excellent. There are two large pockets on the outside of the bag, but the inside is like an apartment complex—there’s plenty of room to store items individually. I used several envelopes to show how many pockets this bag has, and it’s so many that I ran out of mail 🙂
I like that this bag was constructed with a churchgoer in mind. I like the fact that it has a section for taking notes, with a place for pens or pencils and small notebooks or iPads. I also can pack a water bottle, a portable fan to keep cool, and perhaps a light snack like a pack of crackers.
If this bag is great for one thing, it’s even better for another. It’s an all-purpose carrying bag. The best part I saved for last: the price is DOABLE! I keep winning.

I definitely love this bag. I ordered this because it is very versatile in use. The big bag can truly be for everyday use and I can have a matching cover for my pink bible too! It holds everything that I need and it has plenty of pockets which makes it highly functional. it is very easy to use and get used to, plus is very pretty! The material is really good and soft, very doesn’t seem like it’s gonna give me any issues. Plus I can wipe it clean with a wet towel and it does not damage the material. I am considering purchasing a couple for Christmas as gifts because it’s absolutely worth it. Even the zipper closes easily and on it makes it very secure. It’s a great bag, not to mention I love the fact that my water cup has it’s own secure pocket with a strap and I don’t have to worry about it tipping over. I definitely recommend!

Like another reviewer mentioned, I didn’t get this with a bible in mind. I got it as a crafting bag and I’m glad I did.
I’ll start by saying that the box it comes in is really nice and it’s gift ready. It has a bible verse on the front, it’s nice and sturdy, didn’t come with a smushed corner. If there is someone in your life who needs/wants a bible or crafting bag, this would be a great option. It does a have a bit of THAT smell though, you know the one if you’ve bought a pleather bag before.
The size is awesome. It’s not like comically large, but somehow packs a lot of storage space inside. I loved that it had a compartment on the side for a water bottle, but it holds a smaller bottle than I typically use. It could also hold other things though.
The zipper quality was nice, all of them were smooth and gave me no issues.
I love all of the different compartments for holding either journaling supplies or my current knitting/crochet/cross stitch project. It’s a little expensive, but I still ultimately think it’s a good value.
