  • What makes the Akia Collection Beeswax Bread Bag different?

Made with durable 8 oz cotton and a removable 5 oz liner coated in pure beeswax, our bag is breathable, reusable, and plastic-free—designed to keep bread fresh while supporting a natural, low-waste lifestyle.

  • How do I use it to store bread properly?

Cool your loaf completely before placing it inside. Fold or roll the top to seal, press out excess air, and store on the counter, in a bread box, or in the fridge or freezer. Ideal for sourdough, artisan, or crusty homemade loaves.

  • How do I clean and care for the bag?

Shake out crumbs between uses. Wipe the waxed liner with cool water and mild soap, and air dry fully before reuse. Do not soak, machine wash, iron, or expose to heat, as this can damage the natural beeswax coating.

  • Can I store it in the fridge or freezer?

Yes! The breathable beeswax lining works well in cold storage. Ensure bread and bag are completely dry before refrigerating or freezing to reduce moisture buildup and help preserve texture and freshness.

  • What types of bread work best in these beeswax bags?

Perfect for sourdough, artisan, and crusty loaves. The breathable beeswax lining maintains a crisp crust and soft interior. For moist breads or fruits, use parchment to protect the bag and keep it looking great.

So far the bread that I made last 7 days. I made white bread and cinnamon/raisin bread. The size of the bags are perfect for what I made and have so far study up well. The quality of the material is great and easy to close it. Freshness so far is 7 days but I will make some artisan bread to see how many days it last.
