This wooden bat house is exceptionally well-designed and sturdy, built to last for many years. It arrived securely wrapped in bubble wrap inside a heavy-duty cardboard box, complete with a pair of cotton gloves.
The setup process was made effortlessly clear thanks to the well-organized instructions. Two complete sets of directions and mounting hardware are included, detailing how to install the house on a tree, a building, or a pole. Overall, the thoughtful packaging and clear guidance made installation simple and impressive.
It is great to support the local bat population, and in return, they help control annoying nocturnal insects in our yard!
Better quality and sturdier than our last one.
I purchased this bat house because we live on a property with a pond in the front yard and a stream in our backyard and we always have bats flying around. We’ve found them inside our home on occasion, most likely living in the roof with the flying squirrels (which we’ve also found inside our home).
We’ve purchased two bat houses before and one was from a local Amish man and it’s held up for 8 years now. The other one we purchased at a local farm store and I’ll just say it fell apart after 2 years. This one is definitely better quality than that one. I don’t know how long it’ll last as we won’t be putting it up until late winter/early spring.
It looks nice and has ventilation slots on the sides. The hardware, gloves, and directions are included. I will update this review if/when there is an issue with the product, but for now I think it’s a good choice. We plan to install it directly above our pond on a metal pole in an area near where we see the most bat activity.
A Solid, Well-Made Bat House Thats Already a Favorite
We absolutely love this two-chamber bat house! We originally had a bat house that came with our home and was attached to the house, but we eventually realized the bats were finding their way into our attic. We decided to take that one down and move our new bat house out into the woods, where it’s a much better fit.
This bat house is solid and well made, and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to hang, as it was already put together when it arrived.. The cedar construction feels sturdy, and the two-chamber design gives the bats a nice sheltered place to settle in.
We love having bats around because they naturally help keep the mosquito and bug population down. One of our favorite things is sitting around the fire pit at night and watching the bats come out. It’s actually pretty cool to see them flying around while knowing they’re helping with the insects at the same time.
Overall, we’re very happy with this bat house. It looks great in its new location, feels durable, and was straightforward to assemble and install. We’re hoping it becomes a popular little bat residence!

This bat house is sturdy, well made, and easy to assemble. The protective roof, ventilation, and black finish make it a nice addition to a bat-friendly habitat. The included hardware and instructions made installation simple. I haven’t had any bats move in yet, but overall, the quality and design are excellent.
A nicely designed and packaged bat house!
The bat house came packaged very well, and had the hardware needed to hang it. I wish the hooks would have been already attached, as it would have made hanging super easy, and makes no sense why they wouldn’t be already attached. The bat house is a very sturdy wood piece and easy to hang on a tree. I wanted to put it on top my bird feeder pole, so that would take some ingenuity on my part. It’s designed perfectly for bat comfort, from the cedar wood, to the sloping roof that allows water to run off and keep it dry, to the ridged wood that makes it easier for bats to grasp. The size is also nice.

This is the Cedar 2 chamber model for $40. I have a lot of Bats hanging out under my porch floor beams. They eat lots of mosquitos so I don’t mind. If you move slow while under there they don’t bother you. I say this Bat house and thought that would be cool. I believe this time of year they have their babies so maybe if I hang this under the porch they’ll hang out in their.

Well made and easy to install. The wood feels sturdy, and the black finish looks great outdoors. I also like the ventilation and roof design. No bats yet, but hopefully they find it soon!

After needing to remove bats from our chimney area, we decided to get a bat house. After all, they are great to have around for eating mosquitoes and other flying critters.
This bat house is incredible! It is attractive, well-built, and sturdy. It comes with detailed instructions on where to place your bat house, including recommended mounting heights. It also includes a packet of hardware with options to mount it either on a structure or a tall pole. When we received it, I was unsure about the placement, but the included instruction booklet and flyer answered all my questions.
They recommend mounting it before removing bats from their previous home; while we have already relocated ours, we are really looking forward to watching them move into this new house. If you are looking for a high-quality, great-looking bat house, look no further!
