Works very well
I got this artificial grass dog pee pad just because it was perfect for what I needed it for. I actually don’t even have a dog, but I do have an apartment balcony that I am fixing up and this is perfect for sitting right in front of the door, heading back into my house because is super realistic, and it blends in nicely while still giving the balcony aesthetics that I’m looking for. It is 30 x 17″ so you’re gonna have a nice size to work with and like I said, I’m not actually using it for a dog pee pad. It’s more of a doormat for me. I will say it lays flat. Haven’t had any issues with it bubbling or coming up and people chirping over it and it looks very good.
Why I Ordered This
I ordered this for my back deck because I wanted a dedicated potty spot for my small dogs that I could easily spray down and keep clean. Going in and out to the yard constantly isn’t always practical, so I wanted something realistic that my dogs would actually use.
First Impressions
Right away, this mat looked better than expected. The grass is a nice, natural green and doesn’t look cheap or plasticky. It rolled out flat quickly and felt sturdy, not flimsy.
Design & Construction
The turf is dense and soft underfoot but still firm enough to hold its shape. The backing has drainage holes, which is key for outdoor use. Water runs straight through when sprayed, making cleanup simple and fast. It stays put on the deck and doesn’t slide around.
Ease of Use
This could not have been easier. I placed it on the back deck and that was it. My dogs took to it right away with no hesitation or training needed, which honestly surprised me. Cleanup is exactly what I wanted—just spray it down and let it drain.
Performance
This does exactly what it’s meant to do. It provides a clear, consistent potty spot, drains well, and doesn’t hold odors when cleaned regularly. It has held up well so far with repeated use and rinsing.
What Wasn’t an Issue for Me (But Might Be for Others)
This is a single mat, not a full tray system. If someone wants layers or disposable pads underneath, they may need to add that separately. For my outdoor deck setup, that wasn’t an issue at all.

Good turf perfect for small dogs
Great quality came in rolled and fits my dog great he loves it. It’s a decent size for a smaller dog I’d recommend something bigger if you have a larger dog
The artificial grass arrived rolled up ready to use. The artificial grass itself is made well but a little thin. The grass part is soft and dense and there is plenty of drain holes for this artificial grass to breath and dry quickly. The latex backing has helped the artificial grass not slide as much too. The UV resistant materials look and feel good, so hopefully this artificial grass lasts a long time. You can tell this artificial grass has layers despite being thin, so there is a little cushion to this artificial grass, but not much.
While this artificial grass is sturdy, durable, low maintenance, easy to clean, and does not shed when the dog walks on it, I’d use the coupon to buy it to make it a better value if you can.
Great quality dog potty matjust pricey for the size
