Cat loves it!
This product became available at an opportune time. I was planning to get our cat a new sleeping bed because, after six years, the throw pillow he’s currently using is in pretty sad shape. I saw this product and thought “why not?”, and ordered it.
I set it in a location under a chair where he sometime sleeps in the afternoon, and…he started using it immediately! After a couple days I did the replacement, and he’s happily sleeping in this product. And best of all, he’s not trying to scratch at it like he initially did with the throw pillow.
The fabric isn’t designed for a cat, but then again, neither was the throw pillow he was previously using, and that lasted six years. So I’m hoping I can get a similar lifespan. This is an easy five star product and highly recommended for my usage!
Firm enough for tummy time on the floo
The cotton cover is soft with a light texture to it. The grey is flat enough that it doesn’t fight with the rest of the room. For something a baby lies on, cotton was the part I cared about. The pad under the cover is firmer than I expected. It holds its shape under weight rather than folding flat.
Getting the shape adjusted takes some pulling and tucking. Once it’s set it stays. It’s light and slim enough to carry from one room to another in one hand, and it lies flat against a wall when I want the floor back.
This is for awake, supervised use only. It doesn’t cover naps, and a baby outgrows a lounger like this fast.
Always have a clean place to put the baby on the floor.
Pros:
The fabric cover is removable and washable.
It comes vacuum sealed, so there’s no chance of it getting dirty during shipping.
It comes with an instruction manual on how to put it together.
It also has a card for “product registration for safety alert, or recall only” for you to fill out. (It’s been a while since I’ve ordered baby products that actually had one of those cards in there. I wasn’t sure companies still did that).
Manufacturers contact information is also included, which has the name, address, telephone number, and email.
The fabric feels soft, and the stitching looks good.
It has a handle that you can use to carry it around.
Cons:
The instruction sheet recommends you “clean the entire product before first use to achieve the best product experience” but it does not provide information on how to clean the actual mattress and cotton bumper.
Soft and comfortable
The cushion feels soft and has a nice amount of support for supervised floor time. The fabric is breathable and comfortable, and I like the neutral grey color.
The removable cover makes it easier to keep clean, and it’s lightweight enough to move around the house or bring along when traveling.
Simple, comfortable, and convenient to have for a baby.
I ordered this because I wanted a comfortable place to lay baby down while we are hanging out together during the day and I especially liked that this one folds up for storage and travel. The neutral gray color looks nice, it feels well made, and I really like the raised sides. Being able to fold it into its carrying case makes it much more convenient than some of the bulkier baby items. Overall, I really like the design and think it will be especially useful around the house and when traveling.
This is a nice quality baby lounger and I quite like it! The overall design of this lounger is much preferred over the style with the cinching strings, in my opinion. It is very easy to remove the bumper and wash the cover. Although, most loungers this style you are supposed to remove the mattress and the bumper before washing and the mattress on this lounger is completely sewn in and not removeable. It does make me wonder if that was an accident as I do feel like the instructions said to remove the bumper and mattress and only wash the cover, but unfortunately I already threw the instruction sheet away so I can’t double check that information. Either way, it is still holding up fine after the first wash, so time will tell! I often lay a muslin blanket on top just for even easier cleaning in case of small messes. The middle has a nice amount of padding with a good density, which is great as many loungers don’t have any padding in the middle at all. I prefer to be able to use the lounger on any surface, soft or hard, so I definitely appreciate the padding in the base. The sides are a nice thickness as well. The overall quality seems to be great and there haven’t been any issues so far! This lounger would also make a fantastic pet bed for a small pet if you want to continue using it after your little one outgrows it! I think this is currently priced a bit high, but if there was a good sale or a price drop it could be a good value. It is a good option for a lounger!
