ot inexpensive, but high quality
These poster boards come well-packaged, with corner protectors and protective sheets on either side of the group of 3 boards. Because who wants crinkly, damaged corners???
They have a nice surface for writing on with a marker (I haven’t tried dry erase yet, but that might even work), or affixing other things to for display. The rigidity is nice, even though they are lightweight.
Nice display boards! We intend to use them in our shop.
Good quality foam board
TL;DR: Good quality. Exactly as described. Arrived undamaged.
Good:
* This set includes three foam boards at two feet by three feet in size.
* Each of the boards is a good quarter inch thick with smooth paperboard outside and foam inside.
* They arrived in great shape because they were packaged to protect the corners. I included a photo so you can see how that was done. That was my main concern with ordering foamboard online since you can’t inspect it ahead of time to make sure you get a good piece. No worries with this!
Not so good:
* Pricey
Be aware:
* This is foam board, not poster board. It is designed with better rigidity than posterboard, and you can pin things to it as long as the pins are short.
Final thoughts:
* My favorite use for this board is as a background when taking photographs of smaller items, and it works great because it is smooth, rigid, and lightweight. It does have some glossiness that I have to compensate for, but I’m ok with that.
Great boards
This is a great set of foam boards. They are poster sized and are thick. The are solid and really well made. You get three boards that you can use in a variety of crafts. The boards will hold a variety of materials without bending. You ca actually add a fair amount of force to the boards and still not have them bend. The foam boards shine when used as a presentation material. You can add paper, projects and whatever you want to the board and end up with a great project.
The boards are packed with care. You will not receive damaged boards unless the shipping company messes up bad. If you are looking for a great set of foam boards check this set out They are strong, look great and would be an excellent addition to any presentation. Give them a shot, you will be happy you did.
Cleanly Packaged, Durable 6mm BoardsLightweight to Move, but Gets Heavy for Little Hands
This three-pack of 24″ x 36″ white foam boards is a great, versatile pick for school projects, craft builds, signs, and event displays. The boards arrived packaged very neatly, keeping the corners crisp and dent-free straight out of the box.
At 6mm thick (0.23″), these boards are noticeably sturdier and more rigid than standard thin poster boards, making them ideal for heavy painting, mounting, or standing displays. Despite the extra thickness, they are light enough for a child to move around or transport short distances. However, because of the large 24″ x 36″ dimensions and the extra density of the core, carrying them around for extended periods can eventually feel heavy or awkward for a young child (my seven-year-old managed fine to move them, but noticed they got tiring to hold after a while!).
If you are looking for thick, high-quality foam core boards that won’t warp easily and arrive damage-free, this pack is a solid, reliable choice for all kinds of creative projects.
