Product description

This is a very nicely made flash drive with all the flexibility you’d need from one. One end has USB-A and the other USB-C, and it also includes a Lightning adapter for older iPhones, so it can move files between a pretty wide range of devices without needing separate drives or cloud storage. For MBP users, I was able to plug it in next to another USB-C cord, which can be a concern with some flash drives.
The zinc-alloy housing gives it a substantial, premium feel and is a definite step above the lightweight plastic construction found on many inexpensive flash drives.
Sequential performance was reasonable for a conventional USB flash drive, with sustained read speeds around 140 MB/s and writes averaging about 70 MB/s in my testing. My bigger concern was sustained write performance: transfers would periodically pause for several seconds before continuing, suggesting the drive may have a relatively small write cache. For occasional file transfers it isn’t a major problem, but it becomes much more noticeable when copying larger amounts of data.
Overall, I really like the physical design and the convenience of having USB-A, USB-C and Lightning compatibility in one device. It’s a well-made and versatile drive, but the uneven write performance keeps it from being as impressive as the hardware itself.
super handy dual drive
I picked up this dual usb drive because I needed an easy way to transfer large video files between my cell phone and my laptop without messing with cloud storage. Love that it has both the standard usb end and the newer type c plug so I can easily swap it across all my different devices without searching for random adapters. It gets recognized immediately upon plugging it in and the transfer speeds are plenty fast for my daily needs. As far as the materials go, I am genuinely impressed by the construction here. The whole housing is made out of a thick metal alloy that feels pleasantly heavy in the hand instead of that cheap lightweight plastic you usually see. Because the metal shell feels so rugged, I am pretty confident it can easily survive being tossed loosely into my work bag or dropped on the pavement without taking damage. I appreciate the premium build quality and suspect this tough little storage device will last for the long haul. Overall, this is a highly convenient drive that brings great value and makes moving files around a total breeze.
Solid Metal Flash Drive With USB-A and USB-C Connectivity
This USB 128GB Flash Drive by OG O2G is a solid flash drive with both USB-A and USB-C connectors, and it has worked great with all of my computers, including my desktop and laptop, as well as my Android phone. Having both connectors is especially convenient since I can easily transfer files between different devices without needing an adapter.
The drive itself is housed in a metal casing that has some nice heft to it and gives it a more premium feel than the typical plastic flash drives I’ve used. Immediately out of the box, I checked the available storage and found about 117GB of free space. That’s roughly an 8.5% difference from the advertised 128GB capacity, but that’s reasonable and expected with storage devices due to how manufacturers calculate capacity and how some space is used for formatting.
I also tested the write speeds, which ranged between about 25–50MB/s, with my results being most consistent around 30–35MB/s. While this isn’t the fastest flash drive available, the speeds have been perfectly adequate for how I use it.
For me, this flash drive is primarily used for backing up and transferring files between my work laptop, home desktop, and occasionally my Android phone. The combination of USB-A and USB-C connectors, decent transfer speeds, and the sturdy metal construction makes this a convenient flash drive to keep around for everyday file transfers and backups.
Effortless Local Storage and Photo Backup for All Your Devices
If you are constantly battling the dreaded “Storage Almost Full” notification on your phone, this 128GB USB Flash Drive is an absolute lifesaver. Featuring a convenient Type-C dual connector alongside an included iOS adapter, it bridges the gap between Apple devices, Androids, and traditional computers with remarkable ease. The setup and initial operation are entirely plug-and-play, allowing you to bypass the hassle of recurring cloud subscription fees and internet connectivity requirements. It delivers a privacy-focused local storage solution that puts you completely in control of your digital media.
Using this drive to clear out a massive surplus of accumulated photos and videos was an absolute breeze. Within minutes, I was able to select thousands of heavy image files from my smartphone and transfer them directly to my computer without any frustrating lag or compression issues. The physical build quality feels surprisingly sturdy, and the sleek, compact aesthetics make it small enough to slip right onto a keychain or toss into a pocket. Its impressive versatility means you can easily move files between your phone, tablet, and laptop while on the go.
Ultimately, this flash drive offers incredible value for anyone who needs a reliable, high-capacity physical backup without the ongoing costs of online storage. The combination of user-friendly function, durable construction, and cross-platform compatibility makes it an essential tool for digital organization. It has streamlined my photo management routine entirely, and I no longer have to stress about losing precious memories when my phone’s internal capacity hits its limit.
Solid and fast dual-connector drive
I received this free item through the Vine program. The this flash drive features a dual-connector design with USB-C and USB-A interfaces and a solid construction (big fan of a satisfying click when it snaps into position). It was recognized instantly by both a Windows laptop and an Android phone. Judging by reviews of similar models from the same manufacturer, Apple ecosystem owners may be in for a bumpier ride due to buggy companion app – but YMMV, and I have not personally tested it with Apple devices.
The device is built with a durable housing. While a detailed manual (both printed and included as a PDF on the drive itself) suggests an optional companion app for extra features, the drive functions completely fine without any extra software (and I purposely did NOT install an untrusted app!)
I am a bit paranoid about storage devices from unknown manufacturers, so first item of business was to fully reformat the drive (also, Windows’ “autoplay” feature is disabled on all of my computers for safety). After that I proceeded to testing. You may have heard horror reports about scammy flash drives that *pretend* to have lots of storage, but only have 2-4 GBs just to deceive you. I’m happy to report that this drive is NOT that, and advertised capacity is indeed accurate (tested by copying about 115 GB onto the drive, then copying all of that back into a different location and verifying matching checksums for all files).
Speed-wise, I did get ~150 MB/s read speed on large files on a laptop. Didn’t get the promised 70 MB/s writes though – more like 35 MB/s. Still decent though!
I love the sturdy solid mechanical feel of this drive. However, one thing I wish it had was a removable cap for protection when not in use. Of the two USB 3.0 connectors (the A side and C side), one is nicely protected inside the frame, but the other one is fully open. So be careful where and how you put it in your backpack or work bag (or pocket with keys, etc), as the exposed connector can be bent or damaged. Would have been wonderful to have that end protected.
But all in all, I am a happy camper with this drive in my laptop bag!
Handy Dual Connector Flash Drive That Works Well for Quick Transfers
This is for me, and I like how easy this flash drive is to use. The dual connectors make it simple to move files between different devices without needing an adapter. I can plug it into my laptop with the USB A side, then switch to the USB C connector for my phone or tablet. It makes transferring photos and documents very convenient.
The speed is good for everyday use. It handles photos, videos, and larger files without slowing down, and the USB 3.0 performance feels smooth. I have used it for backups and for moving files between devices, and it has worked reliably each time. The plug and play setup is straightforward, and the OTG support makes it easy to manage files directly on my phone.
The metal housing feels sturdy. It has a solid weight to it, and the zinc alloy casing gives it a durable feel. It is small enough to carry in a pocket or bag, and it seems well made for travel or daily use. The design also helps protect it from dust and bumps.
The 128 gigabyte capacity is plenty for my needs, and it is nice that it comes in larger sizes for people who need more storage. It is a practical little tool that makes file transfers simple and quick.
Overall, this is a useful and well-made flash drive with a convenient dual connector design. It works smoothly, feels sturdy, and has been a helpful addition to my everyday tech items. I am very happy with it.
