Solid, Fast Flash Drive That Works Across Multiple Devices
This is a well-made flash drive that feels much more substantial than the typical lightweight plastic USB drives. The metal housing has a nice heft to it and gives the impression that it will hold up well to everyday use. The swivel design works smoothly and makes it easy to switch between the different connectors while also protecting the one that is not in use.
One of the biggest advantages is its versatility. It includes both USB-C and USB-A connectors, along with an adapter that allows it to be used with Lightning-equipped iPhones and iPads. That makes it easy to transfer files between newer USB-C devices, older computers, and Apple devices without needing multiple flash drives.
The drive is advertised as 128 GB, and mine showed approximately 117 GB of available space when first plugged in. That is exactly what I would expect after formatting, so there were no surprises there.
File transfers were quick and trouble-free. The product page lists speeds of up to 150 MB/s read and 70 MB/s write, and my experience seemed consistent with those numbers. Copying photos, videos, and other files was fast enough that I never found myself waiting very long.
The drive is marketed as a convenient way to back up photos and videos from iPhones, iPads, Android devices, and computers. I mainly used it as a general-purpose storage device and for transferring files between multiple devices, and it performed that job very well.
The product also advertises a companion app for additional functionality on iOS. I chose not to install or use it because I simply did not need those features, so I cannot comment on how well the app works. The drive itself functioned perfectly fine for my needs.
My only real criticism is the price. At around $35 when I ordered it, it costs more than many standard 128 GB flash drives. However, you are paying for the multiple connection options, the solid metal construction, and the convenience of using one drive across a variety of devices.
Overall, this is a high-quality flash drive. It is well built, fast, offers good compatibility with modern and older devices, and makes moving files between them simple. If you need a single drive that works with USB-C, USB-A, and Lightning devices, this is an excellent choice.
Zinc casing, honest 128GB, and real USB 3.0 speeds on both ends
The dual ended design is the whole point of this thing, with USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other, so it moves files between the shop PC, my phone and a laptop without me tearing the drawer apart hunting for a dongle. The casing is zinc alloy instead of the usual hollow plastic and it has real heft in the hand, which is the kind of thing that survives living on a keyring rather than cracking apart at the seam. The swivel dust cover snaps positively over whichever connector is not in use, so it is not flopping around loose or letting pocket lint get down into the contacts. Speeds are honest, right around 70 megabytes a second writing and comfortably over a hundred reading, which tells you it is actually negotiating USB 3.0 on both ends instead of quietly falling back to 2.0 the way a lot of cheap drives do. Formatted capacity landed right about where it should for a nominal 128 gigabyte drive, and that is worth saying out loud because fake capacity drives are still everywhere and this one is not one of them. Worth knowing that going through the Lightning adapter on an older iPhone caps you at USB 2.0 speeds, and that is a limitation of Lightning itself rather than anything wrong with this drive. Both the drive and the adapter have lanyard loops but there is no lanyard in the box, so plan on supplying your own piece of cord if you want it on your keys. Solid piece of hardware for hauling photos and backups around without having to depend on somebody else’s cloud.
Built Like a Tank and Performs Well
Overall I think this is a good drive. I still do a lot of work between systems that use both USB-A and UBS-C, so having an integrated connector of both types was nice and not having to carry around an adapter is certainly a plus. While I did not do any deep technical analysis of the read/write performance, I move GBs of images and videos regularly and it seems about as fast as my other USB flash drives, so no complaints there.
What’s most impressive about it is how solid the case is. There is no doubt in my mind that I could stand up on it and it wouldn’t break. While I know it wasn’t, it almost feels like it was milled from a solid block of material. Not at all what I expected, but a pleasant surprise.
The only thing I really didn’t like was that there is always going to be a connector end exposed. What I mean by that is that rotating the cover over the USB-C side exposes the USB-A side and vice versa. The closest work around I could find was to put the USB-C to lightening adapter on it, which does leave the lightening adapter exposed, but since I do not intend to use that it’s not really an issue. Of course neither need a cover while it’s connected to a device, but my concern is what else it may come in contact with in my backpack, which may damage one of the connector ends.
From a cost standpoint this is average to slightly high, as I was able to find some slightly better deals on name brand drives, but these types of things always seem to have a variable price and I tend to only buy them when there is some sort of sale. There may also be a slight bit more cost involved to help support some of the software they provide that helps you to move the files on and off of a phone. I use a cloud backup and did not test that software.

WHAT I LIKED: I liked that the drive is delightfully small and lightweight, yet heavy and solid in the hand. Being that it is solid state and not a spinning disk also makes a big difference for reliability in a portable device. The USB-C to Lightning adapter that comes with the drive is awesome, and high quality, making the drive usable across more devices like lightning devices.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: Nothing stood out out to not like.
FAMILIARITY AND USE: I have had countless drives going clear back to floppy disks. Yes, I missed out on the punch cards. Dang. USB-C is the connector of choice for external drives these days for both speed and ease of use. I will mostly be using this on notebook computers to do work on one computer then do work on the next depending on my location. This will allow me to move from computer to computer with the same file and continue to work on that file no matter where I am – like music production or 3D… Being able to also connect via USB-A opens up moving photos and files between even more types and eras of devices. I could completely backup a device, (that fits on 128GB) if needed, before resetting and restoring it. And there are a lot of devices where a huge 128GB was not even heard of or imagined. They were not called “devices” back then.
SETUP: On my iPad Pro or iPhone pro, I only need to plug the drive in and open the Files app to start using it. See photos. The drive includes a PDF of the user manual.
DETAILS: I have older iPads that only have 32GB of storage so they fill up fast as the OS takes up 16GB. 128GB of portable drive space is huge.
MATTERS MOST: USB-C and USB-A, totally portable, 128GB of space and a lightning adapter.
Great to carry on the go in your pocke

Fast File Transfers and Excellent Build Quality
This 128GB flash drive feels much more substantial than the average plastic USB drive. The zinc-alloy housing gives it a premium look and feel, and the swivel cover is really convenient since there’s no cap to lose or drop or, etc…. This has both USB-A and USB-C connectors, making it easy to connect to a computer or smartphone alike. This also comes with a Lightning adapter to make it compatible with older Apple smartphones, which is really convenient because we still have a couple of those still in use.
I tested it by copying a concert video I had recorded on my phone (recently went to a concert at Madison Square Garden). This video was a little over 6 minutes long, so it was a substantially large file. While I don’t always go to these types of concerts, I do often record my kids concerts, in those videos are roughly the same size. So this was a good test. The transfer completed surprisingly quickly and was finished before I expected it. This was able to transfer a 4.3 GB file in roughly one minute. This is extremely useful so I don’t have to stand over the phone, spending too much of my time transferring videos. There was also no problem with playback directly from the USB drive itself. So I can effectively concur with the read/write speeds.
What’s probably best is that the drive was instantly detected and recognized by all devices, from the computer, to the Android smartphone as well as even the Apple smartphone. I didn’t need to install any additional software or applications, and that is hands down probably my favorite part!
Based on my testing, the advertised transfer speeds seem very realistic. This is a well-built flash drive that’s fast, convenient, and easy to recommend.
This is a 128gb flash drive that is equipped to connect to every modern device that the typical person is likely to own. It has a standard type-A connector for legacy devices such as a desktop computer, smart TV, anything that has standard USB ports, really. It has a Type-C connector for newer ultra-thin laptops, tablets, Android devices, and newer iPhones. And a USB-C to lightning adapter comes in the box for connecting it to older iPhones. That series of connectors covers everything you’d want.
I wrote enough data to this drive to fill it completely full, then moved it to a different computer to eliminate any possibility of a cache creating false positives, and verified that all of the files copied accurately and fully. The true capacity is as stated (somewhere around 111 GB, which is typical for a nominally 128GB drive) which is great to see as not every inexpensive drive sold on Amazon can say that. Read and write performance was good, with the tests I ran indicating that it wrote at average speeds over 70 MB/s and recorded speeds over 100 MB/s for reads. This means that it is taking advantage of USB 3.0 or better on both connectors, as a USB 2.0 device would be limited to a lower speed due to the protocol itself. It is backwards-compatible with USB 2.0 ports, it will just operate at a lower speed in a USB 2.0 device. If using the Lightning adapter to connect to an older iPhone or iPad, it will be limited to the lower USB 2.0 speeds as that’s all that lightning can deliver. Otherwise, it’ll work at whichever generation your device operates at, just expect lower speeds for USB 2.0 devices.
The flash drive is heavy and comes in a metal casing that seems to be of high quality. The dust cover rotates to cover either one of the two connectors (but one is always exposed) and it has a clear tactile action where it snaps into place over either connector, so the dust cover shouldn’t jiggle around on your keys. The flash drive and the Lightning adapter both have a loop for a lanyard, but no lanyard comes with it. It’s possible to connect either of them to your keychain, but you’ll need an appropriate lanyard or loop of fine string to do it.
This flash drive has a feature set and performance that easily meet my needs and then some, and it will definitely be a part of my main rotation of drives.
