Spacious bread bags with a practical zipper desig
I ordered this 2-pack of COZYCOCO beeswax bread bags to help keep bread and other baked goods fresh, and I’ve found myself using them for much more than just homemade sourdough. The bags are very spacious and easily accommodate large loaves as well as items like bagels, naan, and tortillas.
One feature I prefer on this set is the zipper design. I’m not convinced the zipper creates a completely airtight seal, but I do find it more convenient and easier to use than the fold-over styles I’ve tried. Loading and removing bread is much quicker, especially with larger loaves. After washing, I recommend making sure the bags dry thoroughly before using them again since they’re designed to retain moisture for freshness.
For the price, I think these are a practical reusable storage option for anyone who bakes or buys fresh bread regularly. They offer plenty of room, are easy to use, and help keep baked goods from drying out as quickly. While I don’t expect a perfectly airtight seal, they still perform well for everyday bread storage and are a nice alternative to disposable bags.
Bread bags
These bags are huge! Way bigger than I was expecting. The outside is canvas but the inside is coated in beeswax. There is also a zipper enclosure and a buckle. I was able to fit a sleeve of 8 bagels comfortably inside one bag with room to spare. I’m not a big fan of the flower print. It’s kind of ugly but the bread print is cute! They wipe clean easily. So far my bagels are still fresh in the bag after 4 days. Pretty impressed!
These work fine if you know what you are doing
Beeswax bags are widely misunderstood. Many people think they are a solution to foods getting stale or are a way to preserve foods for long times. The real function is to allow moisture to escape the food and the bag in a controlled fashion. For things like sourdough bread they are ideal since they allow moisture to escape at the same rate as it would from the bread under ideal conditions. This means the crust stays crunchy while the bread stays moist for a longer time. Sourdough bread with no preservatives will last about 4-6 days in one of these bags at room temperature and will taste good and fresh. Beyond that time you are going to get some staleness and probably mold. Mold will happen at the same rate in bread stored at room temperature without the beeswax bags but the bread will lose it crunchy crust in about one day.
These bags are large and made with good quality materials and replace the need of using disposable bags saving cost and waste.
I am happy with them and can testify that they do what experts say they will do.

This two pack of beeswax coated linen bread bags are reusable! CozyCoCo has made a lovely product for storing your homemade bread and rolls securely. Why use plastic when you can use natural beeswax and natural linen? Easy to use, clean, and store. Will fit most homemade loaves (17″x 13″). These would also make a VERY nice gift for a beloved baker in your life. Filled with one of your excellent loaves one of these would make a great gift to bring to dinner. Using Reusable bread bags is a trend that actually makes sense for so many reasons, including the price!

Wow! These bags are much nicer than I expected. They are very roomy at13x17 and came with two different bags. One bag has a top opening and closure with just a top nylon soft close zipper. The other bag zips on the top but also around the side you can easily fit varying sizes of pastries in that bag. The outside of the bags are like a heavy duty canvas but are 100% cotton. The interior of the bags are yellow, lined with a mixture of beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. The bags keep the bread moist and fresh. These bags can be used for freezing breads too. The bags can be wiped clean. Just brush out the crumbs, rinse in cold water and a drop of soap if needed and air dry with the bag pulled inside out. I’m new to making sourdough and can’t wait to keep using these bags to store any leftover bread .
