Beautiful 17" x 12" Golden Carmel Teak Wood Cutting Board
I love the color of my Nomsters Teak Wood cutting board.
The wood is a golden caramel color with a prominent wood grain pattern throughout.
I ordered the 17″ x 12″ size as I often have a large quantity of vegetables to cut up at one time.
This is a solidly made cutting board and does not have any flexing when I pick it up or use it.
Having handles built in on bottom of both ends helps with moving the cutting board around on the counter.
I like that the handles are recessed so they do not get in the way when I am using the cutting board.
There is a deep juice channel around the edge of the entire board. This is a must have for me.
I have had boards with out the channel and any liquids end up all over the counter.
The back of the cutting board has four large silicon non-slip feet that keep the board from sliding around on my counter when I am using it.
Included with my cutting board is a pamphlet which includes washing and care instructions.
My Nomsters 17″ x 12′ Teak Wood cutting board is an eye catching and well designed addition to my kitchen.
I use cutting boards on a daily basis and having a cutting board with all the design features I need makes my food prep so much easier.
I really like this teak wood cutting board! It has plenty of room for me to cut up vegetables and fruits without dripping everywhere onto the counter! I use a different cutting board if I have meat to cut up. I do see cut lines on the teakwood cutting board, but that’s to be expected. I didn’t believe that it would not have cutting marks on it. I highly recommend this cutting board.!
Nice quality board
Looks nice, Holds up nice to daily use. Would make a great gift as it is a great quality board. And the non-slip feet are a great addition as the board doesn’t slip when you use it.
Premium, expertly crafted, rich-grained
I wouldn’t have thought I could get so excited about a cutting board, but this one impressed me so much.
I found it outstanding in every way.
First I want to talk about just some of the benefits of teak cutting boards:
– Teak has a very dense grain and natural oils that resist moisture and bacterial growth. (You could feel and see this aspect in this cutting board)
– These natural oils help to prevent warping and cracking
– Teak cutting boards are easier on your knives. It has a give to it that helps to preserve the edge of your knife blade
– Cutting on teak boards does not produce micro-plastics, like it can on plastic cutting boards
– Teak is extremely long lasting, and can even be sanded and restored after years of use
Now, I’d like to mention what I liked about this teak chopping board specifically:
– it is extremely well crafted, with grooves all around for juice leakage
– it’s substantial, yet lightweight
– there are quality, L-shaped rubber “feet” on the bottom four corners to prevent movement
– there’s handle grooves built-in on each end (underneath), so you can grip the board easily
– the size and thickness is perfect, not too bulky nor too small, and therefore easy to store
– it looks BEAUTIFUL. You can use this board not just to chop food, but you can use it to display and serve food
like a charcuterie. I’m even tempted to leave this board out on the island because it’s so naturally beautiful.
The care with which this product is made and delivered is evident…it comes wrapped in a plastic film to preserve the oils and finish, and then is boxed securely. It also comes with a descriptive insert which discusses why teak wood is such a good option for cutting boards, and also describes in detail the proper care of this board.
This is something I very much recommend.

Nice cutting board worthy of being around for a long life of kitchen service.
It’s of thicker construction with a pre oiled finish.
Ultra durable and easy to clean with a drip catcher around the edge that adds extra style too.
Teak is a very hard wood and wont slice or chip out easily like many woods. It looks nice too.
It’s a large size so it’s great for any use or cutting multiple items without mixing them up.

Nice quality board!
I’ve ordered many cutting boards in the past, made of various materials. After trying out all of the types of boards, I have always found wooden boards to be the best. They don’t warp or change shape when cutting something hot, like cooked meat. They also don’t move around the counter as plastic or metal boards do.
Here’s what I really like about this board.
1. It’s heavy, so won’t easily move.
2. Further to point 1, this board has rubber feet in the corners.
3. The board has small cutouts on the sides to make it easier to pick up from a flat surface.
4. The board has a channel around the edge to collect liquids so they don’t pour off the board, something that is often lacking on wooden/bamboo boards.
5. It was shipped seasoned. No need to season the board before first use.
Overall, great board. Would definitely recommend.
Nice Cutting Board
I really like this cutting Board. My knife doesn’t just cut into the wood. It is sturdy. The mote around the board is a big help. There are rubber grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding.
Lovely appearance and well designed
I chose the NMSTERS Teak Cutting Board to replace my old cutting board that no longer contained drips. To begin with, I like the fact that the product information comes in an envelope and is laid out in an easy reader/user-friendly way. This cutting board is a thing of beauty. The wood has lovely grain and rich colour. It is smooth and well finished. After initially washing and drying it, I applied a food grade mineral oil to help preserve it. This application even further enriched its character. It is a great size at 43cm x 30cm. I love the grips on the underside that keep it from slipping on the counter. The deep drip grooves on the surface did a wonderful job containing juices during a recent roast carving. This is an easy 5 Star product.
