I am so happy I gave these curtain weights a chance! They are EXACTLY what I needed!
I have some roll down blinds for my outdoor covered patio. Unfortunately we get a really strong afternoon ocean breeze every afternoon and the wind has pulled the bottom rail from the tie downs on the side every time we try to use the hardware to keep the blinds down.
I saw a few of these types of weights but didn’t think they could work. Finally I decided to give these a try and I am shocked, honestly, at how well they work.
The first thing I noticed when opening the packaging was the heavy weight of the package! I then opened the package and pulled an individual magnetic weight out and it was so heavy. I then had a difficult time taking the heavy weight apart due to how strong the magnets are inside! They are very heavy duty and so well made!
I love the different colors and how nicely they are finished. They are absolutely lovely!
I put three weights on bottom of the two blinds that move the most and I was completely shocked. They kept the curtains from rattling around with the wind. The wind would try to move the curtain but they stayed put which is so nice for me to be able to actually keep them down to block the neighbors view of our patio. I am so excited and happy to have a solution for my wind problem!
While the magnets are super strong, they are easy to put on the blinds and once on they are super strong and don’t move from where they are placed. I am absolutely thrilled!
I have shared pictures with a coffee mug for size reference. I HIGHLY recommend these outdoor curtain and blind weights that have a colorful rubber coating. They work amazingly well!
Use them at the top so they don't become a pendulum
The magnetic strength is good! The durability is excellent. The size is perfect! The weight of them work well; if you are in a windy climate, it’s best to just put the weights at the top. See my attached picture as to how I secure from the bottom so the weights don’t hit anyone.
Fast Fix For Wind Blown Curtains
These magnetic curtain weights are large, heavy and work exactly as advertised. They’re strong and almost difficult to separate. Once separated they are easy to install. Just put them together at the curtain corners. The weights do a great job keeping my outdoor patio curtains from blowing around in the wind. The rubber coating protects the fabric and prevents scratching or staining. The weight is heavy enough to make a noticeable difference but are large and visible. The 20-piece set is a great value, and they’ve held up well outdoors. Highly recommended if you’re tired of chasing your curtains every time the wind picks up. I also believe there would do get on large hanging flags.

The strength of these magnets is just wow! I struggled to separate the two when I first got these. I will be buying again since I lost mine in v a fire. But great value and quality. FYI though my 7 year old did pick away some of the rubber on on half of a magnet.
Pricey for magnets, but seems to be good quality and cute colors. The magnets don’t provide adequate support or weight for outdoor curtains. The curtains don’t blow as high as they did before, but they still blow even with little wind. If this doesn’t work, I will buy heavier curtains or tie them down using the slot at the bottom. In this video, I am using two sets of magnets.
