This is not a portable cooktop; installation is required.
The quality of this gas cooktop is indisputable. It’s beautifully made, with features that I wish my actual gas stove had. Good when a full gas cooktop is not possible. However, remember this is not a portable unit. You can’t just sit it on top of a counter and use it on a temporary basis. You do have to make sure you have a cutout you can drop it into and the appropriate electrical and gas power sources Too connected. This is something a fairly experienced DIYer could do if they had the appropriate equipment, i.e, saws. The images with the product make it clear you need to install this, but the copy does not exactly point it out, so just be sure you know what you are getting. Otherwise, it would be a very good choice for a permanent smaller cooktop in a smaller space and is a good value given the quality of the manufacturing.

Love the look—black glass is way easier to clean than stainless. The two-burner size is perfect for tiny homes, campers, or outdoor kitchens. Just know it needs 120V for the igniter—you could convert to 12V but that takes some tinkering. Works with NG or propane, but you have to swap the jets. I hooked up a standard 20lb tank hose no problem. It’s a drop-in design, not freestanding, so plan for permanent install. Overall, works great.

Installed it the second it arrived. Used it a bunch of times now—honestly, it’s great. Feels solid and well-made, way better than the induction cooktop I had before. Actually makes me want to cook more!
Good little gas cooktop!
Got the 12inch, twoburner model with the black glass top. Runs on propane or natural gas—super flexible. Also has that thermocouple safety shutoff, which gives me peace of mind. Works great for my RV, but honestly it’d be fine in a small kitchen or apartment too.
