A surprisingly quality set of figures for Weirder Stuff fans
These are tough to review from a practical standpoint, because they aren’t exactly practical. They are pvc molded figures, with surprisingly good paint jobs. The intent of whom each character is easy to distinguish for a fan or even a disinterested parent.
They remind me a lot, at least from a styling perspective of some of the slap shod computer animated stuff you would see on YouTube. Not an indictment, just what I think.
Still, they do look good for what they are.
For my purposes, they are for my 6-year-old daughter who has developed an unfortunate interest in Stranger Things thanks to the ridiculous marketing that went into the final season and the overwhelming attention the show got from various YouTube channels.
As I did not want to buy her expensive adult collectable toys or a slew of Funko at scalper prices, these were a great tradeoff.
Overall, she likes them quite a bit, they have had numerous baths or been parts of numerous flights of fancy while playing.
The only real complaints I can muster is that they don’t all hold well to the little hollow bases, mostly because the pegs have some variance and they seem to be an unlicensed product.
Licensing, licensing is tricky, I have a lot of opinions regarding fair use, but i fail to see how these fall into that category. As such, I cannot help but feel they are profiting from someone else’s creation. Though, I could argue the style choice is sufficiently different that they are more an homage.
If you like Stranger Things, you’ll like these. I got them to give to a friend who is a big fan of the show. You get 10 figures, and each one is easily recognizable as the character they represent.
They’re made well. The plastic seems thick and durable, and there are no small parts. They’re also pretty detailed and well painted, and seem pretty true to the show. Each figure is individually wrapped and comes with a stand, which fits pretty well. They don’t wobble once added on to the base and are nice and stable.
I do think it’s important to remember though that these are not toys. They’re collectibles. So, I wouldn’t give these to little kids to play with.
Great Gift For The Stranger Things Fan!
These Stranger Things Characters are great!
My Grandson is a HUGE Stranger Fan & a Funko Pop collector so that is what these remind me of in a way only they are like stationary action figures.
Arrived super fast. Each character is individually wrapped in plastic with a little round stand.
These are all hard plastic material including the bottoms as well.
The bottom of the shoe/foot there is a tiny hole that goes onto the stand, turn until it’s balanced or you are happy where your character is standing.
These are good quality.
Stand almost 4″ tall, you can tell who each person is by their clothing/features especially of you have ever watched the show.
Now that the show hit its final season I imagine it will be harder to find Stranger collectibles. My Grandson has collected so much memorabilia over the years & is thrilled to add these to his collectibles.
At the price of $35.99 (at time of posting this, 03/06/26) I think that is a very fair price given the overall quality, size & for how many you get total, 10 in the package!! That makes these just at $3.60 each, you can’t beat it!
Highly recommend to anyone!
These would make great Easter Basket fillers, stocking stuffers, birthday gift Or just an everyday gift for that special someone in your life that is a fan of the show.
