I’ve recently gotten into linen towels, and this is my second one, so I was really excited to try it. They are definitely different from traditional terry cloth towels. They are not as soft and plush, but I’ve found them to be much more effective at actually drying you off.
This towel is very absorbent and dries me off quickly, which is the biggest benefit. It also dries faster between uses, which is a nice bonus. Another thing I love about linen is how compact it is. This towel folds up very thin, so it does not take up much space, which is great for storage or travel.
Because it folds up so small it’s pretty versatile, I think you could use this as a beach towel too since sand would easily fall off.
The quality feels good since it is 100% linen, and I like the little tassels on the edges. It adds a simple decorative touch that looks nice when it is hanging on a towel rack.
It is a bit on the pricier side, but that seems pretty standard for linen towels compared to terry cloth. Overall, this is a really nice, effective towel. I like it a lot and would recommend it if you are looking to try linen.
UPDATE: I am definitely pleased the longer I use this! It’s summer here and terribly hot. This linen towel feels so good for this hot time of year! I didn’t know if I would miss the heavy, fluffy towels I’m used to, but ends up I do not. This type towel just FEELS CLEANER to me. It’s washing up nicely now after several washes! It is very absorbent. I like wrapping my long hair with this towel after I wash it because it is NOT HEAVY and helps to dry my hair nicely while it’s wrapped up on my head. There are several aspects I appreciate about this linen towel and I am definitely switching over to all linen! I love that they don’t take up as much space in the linen cabinet too.
I plan to switch over to linen towels and bedding as my budget permits. Linen is budget friendly in the long run because linen outlasts other materials. Initially it is a bit expensive but worth the investment. I wear linen too but the wrinkles kinda bum me out for clothing. On towels and bedding it doesn’t matter to me if they’re wrinkled.
This linen material feels nice and is a decent thickness for a towel. It’s absorbent and dries quickly. Linen is antibacterial and this is especially important when it comes to a bath towel. It dries quickly so it’s not going to get odors like thick terry cotton towels that take longer to dry out so odors are developed in the towel.
I like the fact that this linen towel takes up very little space when folded! This is a “little thing” with big impact. Saves space in the linen closet and if you pack it for travel. Sand won’t get trapped like it does in a terry cotton beach towel.
When I wrap my hair after washing, this is lightweight and not bulky like the regular terry cotton towels.
This towel is a beautiful light khaki color with cream fringe on the end edges. The tassels washed up nicely in my washing machine. I hang to dry.
I’m glad I got this. I’m a big fan of linen and the quality of the 100% linen fabric is very high. I have no plan to use it for the beach but had been wanting a firm type of throw blanket that I can stretch around my back for the feeling of pressure, and also I like the absorbency of linen so I wondered about it as a bath towel. I’m happy with it for both those uses.
The size of this oversized towel is actually perfect to wrap around me as a throw while sitting at my desk. In cold temps it’s not actually that warming, but it will be a good warmer weather throw. This is not a typical texture to be a throw blanket (or towel), because it’s not at all stretchy and is a fairly thick and dense weave. It’s exactly like it looks like and is actually such nice premium linen fabric. I have nothing better to create a soothing pressure on my back and shoulders. It isn’t quite as satisfying as I hoped but it does work perfectly for that and I do like it and will use it for that.
As a towel it is actually very absorbent. It is thin but in comparison with my thick fluffy 100% cotton terrycloth towels the linen towel actually definitely dries me faster. It’s also faster for drying my hair. That linen is just so absorbent it pulls the water right off of me. That’s going to be especially useful when I wash my hair before I need to go out in the winter and I want to dry my hair off as best as I can. This towel gets my hair dryer, faster.
I’m sure there will be some people that like the look of it but the one thing I don’t like is the trim which to me is frivolous and also the least durable thing about this. The linen bath sheet itself will be very durable for numerous machine washing cycles. I dunno about the trim, which seems to be 100% cotton. I would rather have the plain towel without the tassel trim.
Stylistically this thin style towel and its fringe may be evoking “Turkish towels” which are traditionally thin 100% cotton woven towels.
If you actually did take this towel to the beach, it would be the easiest thing ever to get sand off of. Sand would shake right off.

There is no noticeable smell out of the package, which is always a good sign with natural fiber products. It feels clean and ready to use, though a wash is definitely needed before first use to soften it up and get it to its best performance. Like most linen textiles, it will only improve with time and washing.
Visually, it leans into the natural linen aesthetic fully, which means wrinkles are not just expected, they are basically part of the design. It arrives very wrinkled and stays that way unless ironed, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It gives a relaxed, lived-in, boutique hotel look rather than a perfectly pressed, store-display finish. If you want crisp and smooth, this won’t be it, but if you like that organic, slightly undone elegance, it works beautifully.
The size is generous at 37 by 71 inches, giving it a true bath sheet feel rather than a small towel experience. It wraps well and feels substantial without being heavy or bulky.
In terms of value for money, it feels justified if you’re buying into the linen experience. You’re paying for natural fibers, breathability, and long-term durability rather than plush thickness or decorative embellishment. It’s a bit of a lifestyle towel rather than a basic utility one.

Linen Towel
I was curious about linen as a bath towel since I regularly wear it in clothing. The first thing that I noticed was how much cooler the towel felt on the skin compared to typical fluffy cotton towels (especially where the fabric was damp from absorbing any water). That cooling quality was great for summer/hot weather, but will be too cool feeling for me to use in winter time. The fabric felt a little rough when used on my face, but that might change the more I wash it. I ordered the 37 by 71 size, which was great for fully wrapping around my body. The absorbency seemed good—I could dry off after a shower and the majority of the towel was still mostly dry. The linen also seemed to dry quickly and retain a fresh scent (rather than getting a mildewy scent from the moisture in the bathroom). The towel has a loop in the middle for hanging, which is handy if it needs to hang on a hook rather than a towel bar.
Soft, Lightweight & Beautiful Linen Bath Shee
