Note that this device does not come with any power supply so please be aware of that before purchasing this. That being said, it does come with everything else you need to set this up. It works up to 60w worth of power which works for me as I can power certain devices like the cameras around my house. The setup is fairly easy to for the most part. The only thing you need is to figure out which power unit will work best for this device. The device does run warm due to being a PoE injector. I would recommend putting this in an area that is not confining to provide the best cooling. The device It can provide a good amount of internet speed through device although everything is determined by your internet provider and router/modem. This device is definitely on the pricier side but it is one of the higher end PoE injectors. It does have mounting brackets to help with placement. You do not have to install any software that I can tell and it is pretty much plug and play. I like that it can be mounted to save you on space. The device is very durable. It is well built and I have had no issues with it shorting or stable connection issues. The injector does not come with any kind of cables. It is just the PoE injector so make sure you have the appropriate cables. Overall this device is on the pricier side but so far it has done a decent job. I am pretty happy with the performance so far. The one thing is to be aware that it does come with any kind of power supply and it is just the PoE injector so you do have to purchase that separately. It is on the higher end in terms of PoE injectors so it provides more power and decent speeds. The device can run a bit warm so try to make sure it is not covered by anything and in a well open space for passive cooling.

Very impressive!
5/12/2026 : I hooked this up to my security camera, powered with a variable voltage brick set to 12V (capable of 30W), using a foot of 20AWG low voltage wire. The set up is well within safety specs, and the camera powers up without issue. The camera shouldn’t use more than 15W at max, and much less on average. Since this is a lot more compact that the big 8 port PoE switch I was using, I will see how this performs, and will update if anything goes wrong. Way overkill for my use case, but, that’s ok with me.
9/15/2025 : This is my first “industrial grade” that I have obtained, and, it definitely feels on another level. I did not know that it does not come with its own power supply, so now I need to do careful research to understand how to power this safely, to test it out on my cameras. The build is excellent, the edges are all rounded, but it also feels heavy, like it can take a bit of abuse. It feels like it is built to last a very long time. I wasn’t sure curious about the ability of this unit to power a far greater variety of cameras than the consumer grade Poe+ switches that I currently have. I by far prefer Ethernet connections to my security cameras, since (a) the signal quality and reliability is significantly higher than wireless cameras, (b) I can simplify powering them using Poe, (c) wireless cameras can easily be jammed, rendering them useless, and (d) wireless cameras take up wireless bandwidth and/or crowd an already crowded wireless band. I like to minimize the work that my router and network need to do. Since many devices that were formerly considered industrial grade are now being modified and upgrade into the prosumer market, I’m excited that I now have the ability to run most exciting new security cameras that might come out in the near future!
